hhmmmm i think they need to invest in a new drive-thru speaker/microphone! That thing looks so ancient that every time I come here, I feel like they're gonna get my order wrong! There's been several occasions when i order chili fries and the lady thought I said regular fries... and when I ordered 3 corndogs and she thought I said four... I know I may sound like i'm exaggerating, but when I wait for my order at the window, I can see the worker tapping her headphones cause she can barely hear the order through all that static..lol!
Despite the frustration of making sure my order is correct, I like this place for their chili cheese fries with bacon! Their bacon wrapped street dog is also good. They've been very consistent with their street dogs every time I come here so I give this place three stars!!! Plus they open till 2 A.M, definitely a huge plus for me! -

It's places like these I wish Yelp had a more accurate scale: I wish I could give 1.5 stars but I'll round up to 2.
Food taste is good but service is really poor. Sometimes I have to wait awhile to get an order in.
What really confuses me is how they sell the 100% Angus beef hotdogs for $1 more when they taste much worse than their regular hotdogs...
Chili dogs are ok but the street dogs are my fav. -

First Impression: Ok, I recently just moved near Story Rd. and this is the closet one so decided to try it out. I can never get over the fact that driving here is a pain because of traffic and not to mention exiting to make a left turn! Horrible! The workers seem to not know much about coupons when obviously they are promoting an item and they don't know what the hell your talking about! I order my Chili Cheese Fries well-done and they never come out right! If it wasn't for their Street Dog satisfying my craving for a cheap and on the go dog then I would rather drive a bit farther on Capitol to enjoy a yummier Chili Cheese Fries!
Last Impression: The location is ridiculous but having coupons and being close to home is a win win for me! -

Ordered chili cheese hotdog. Rather than lathering the cheese on top of the chili, the cheese was toasted inside of the bread (e.g., ham and cheese sandwich)! Who taught them how to prepare their wieners, anyway?!!!

Yeah, I'm giving them a two. I mean, I love Wienerschnitzel as much as the next person, but this place. Just sucks. I mean. It's open late, which is one reason I give them one star. And the fact that refills are free. which makes it two. Other than that. Service sucks. Sucks like a vacuum. They messed up my order in countless occasions, the food tastes like it's been sitting there for over an hour under the heat lamps. And well, I'm not gonna complain too much, but the point is if you REALLY want a hot dog. I dunno. Go to Lucky's and make it yourself. Or go to a different one.
P.S. Not to mention, they forgot to return my credit card. *mad face -

I know, I know!!! But I grew up down the street and for some reason I can't resist this place. There is nothing special about it but that chili and hot dog mixed together with cheese is just a tempting superficial taste of my child hood.
I don't live there anymore but I do wake up in the middle of the night shivering and fiending for that chili cheese dog that I cherished as a youth.
My fingers won't let me move over the star tablet to 2 stars because it's a part of my youth as well as the Mervyn's that no longer is across the street.
I've seen some stuff go down at the location too. A guy crying because the guys in the car were making fun of him and he wanted to chase me because I was looking at him. Dude, I was 8 years old!!
I saw the old manager there pick his nose. True story!!! -

I LOVE chilidogs. Ever since I was a kid playing Sonic the Hedgehog...did you know he loves chili dogs too? :D
Right now there is a $5 for 5 original hotdog special.
This place by far isn't fancy AT ALL. Actually there is nothing such as a fancy hotdog...if there is, I'll be the first to eat it.
If you want a late night cheap fast eats I'd eat at Wienerschnitzel before I go to McDonalds down the road.
The parking lot sucks and is always messy. Also the speakers at the drive through suck. Don't bother, just go directly to the window.
The best thing to do is park, order at the dine in...or should I say dine out window. You get a free refill on your soda for free. -

i was super craving the chilli cheese fries.. it was yum.
the hotdog wasn't as good, i swear i just ate bread with chili on it.
i got to the drive thru and the lady was like "yes" as a hello.

The second star is just for staying open hella late and having a drive through. Otherwise, this is a glorified hotdog stand. I mean ... we're talking hotdogs here. If we ran around handing out stars to hotdog stands, we'd undermine our credibility as food critics. Arguably, hotdogs aren't even food! Don't get me wrong, I totally dig a hotdog from time to time. But there's no such thing as a 3-star hotdog.

I love wienerschnitzel food but I know for sure if corp. visit this place they would be embarrassed. They have monkeys working at this place, not knowing how to do a damn thing. Every time I order they would get the order wrong and they don't give you a receipt of what you ordered. Went here 3 times and I would never go here again. Place is almost small and dirty and so are the workers.

i usually crave for the most random things. mark's hot dogs was already closed, so i decided to just go to wienerschnitzel's. well it is a fast food place, so dont expect super high quality stuff. i used to go to this place a lot, but lately im getting spoiled with the better things in life. anyway i usually get 4 chili cheese dogs, and an italian sausage. the italian sausage tasted pretty bland, but the chili dogs were just ok. well what more can i say, its fast food, it has a drive thru, and its open when i crave for chili dogs at random hours. enjoy! ;D
