I found Sara through http://www.bayareabirt..., which is a great resource, and I have gone to her for a couple of prenatal massages so far. I plan to book more!
She is very warm and kind, and the massages are great. I was experiencing major back pain and tension, and the day after the massage I felt like million bucks. I'm so glad I found her!
She offers massage on Fridays and Sundays, and is flexible in scheduling appointments. -

It had been a while since I had a traditional Swedish massage on a table, as I am more apt to get the type of massage that involves rolling around on the floor, assisted stretching and yoga. Still, I very much enjoyed the massage and was pleased to find that Sara's style was very holistic -- she incorporated not only broad Swedish strokes but also worked out my "spots" with Shiatsu-type methods. She encouraged communication throughout the session and was eager to know what I needed and wanted in the moment. Sara was very warm and made me comfortable. I also liked that she encouraged deep breathing during the massage.
I found her to be very woman-centric, which created a safe, comfortable environment for me. Her focus is on Prenatal Massage and Postnatal Massage. Her rate is reasonable as well. It's definitely worth the visit -- I left feeling very relaxed and she had worked out the knots in my back so throughly that I felt the positive effects of the massage days after my session!
