Whitney is an amazing massage therapist! Read more reviews at the current Yelp listing for her Berkeley office here: http://www.yelp.com/bi...
Don't miss out on the goodness that is Miss Whit's massage. She is one of the best in the business. -

Whitney is wonderful! She has been an acquaintance of mine for years and I've always found her to be exceedingly warm, friendly, fun, and talented.
I just went to her for bodywork for the first time last week. I've never had bodywork done, and I've only had professional massages twice before, but I must say she is AMAZING. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and her hands work wonders. I recently had a back injury, and I went to her for help with that. She recently started doing Neuromuscular Reprogramming, which is something I was previously unaware of. It is like magic. After an hour long session with her, my back felt much more flexible than it had, and a week later my pain is nearly gone! It's hard to say how much of that is due to what she did and how much is just normal healing, but her working out the tension that had built up in my back due to the injury has definitely helped move things along. Not to mention it felt incredibly good.
Something else I liked a lot was how she told me exactly what she was doing, and educated me about how my body works in the process. It was really interesting to me because I love learning that kind of thing. Plus, it was abundantly clear that she is very knowledgeable about what she's doing: anatomy, musculature, the way the human body works, etc.
I will definitely be going back to Whitney again! -

House calls!!!!
Most of my day is spent hunched over a keyboard. My back a gnarled mess of unhappy. Last week I threw out my back but since I was on a business trip I had to navigate hours on a plane and standing around on my feet.
Whitney made it all better and was incredibly flexible about her time.
Best of all I feel sprightly again (and my back is happier). -

m picky about who I hire to heal me. I think that good skill is only a start. Whitney has those skills, and is deeply invested in refining them as a lifelong process. She is attentive, and targets teh areas most in need based on her clients' histories.
More than that, though, she has a sense of humanism and compassion that lends itself to making a massage more than just relaxing, but deeply healing. Her magic hands start working my back, and I am rid of old negative feelings that have been locked in. Buh-bye, baggage!
Omigod, this lady knows how to work it. I am so happy on her table, puddy in her hands! -

Whitney's skill and work is a wonderful blend between the intellectual, the intuitive, and the sensate. Her education regarding human anatomy and kinetics is obvious--I have a number of injuries to work through, and she is always taking note of new areas of knowledge to apply to them! ALSO: It just feels DAMN good.

Whitney is an excellent bodyworker. She is able to focus and tailor her work to the person's needs. As a bodyworker myself, I am selective about massage and other healing arts. Whitney is skilled and engaged in her work. Plus she is a warm and compassionate being.

I'm a programmer, so I live in my brain; my body is a hassle to deal with. When I started seeing Whitney for massages, she understood where I was coming from, and started teaching me about my body in a way that helped me connect with it. I've seen my share of massage therapists, and Whitney is the first to reach me on both a physical and an intellectual level, bringing me into dialogue with my own muscles. I've never felt so good about being in my own skin.

Whitney is simply the best. I am a CMT and she is the only one I call. She is technically impressive and has a great personality and understand of what she is doing. You will never have a less than amazing massage from this woman.
