Okay... so the decor isn't much to look at. Just saying that I had a good experience here will cause the locals to fall out of their chairs. I DID! Some friends and I went in one Saturday afternoon. I took the "special," a patty melt. It was awesome! It was a grilled patty topped with melted cheese, served on crispy, buttery grilled rye bread. The fries were the perfect crispiness. What can I say!??
The White Stallion is your blast-from-the-past diner. You sit down behind one of the booths, and your suddenly back in grade school. The meals are followed-up by a mandatory hour long chat session while the waitress keeps your cup full. It's the sign of contentment. I'll go back. :) And it's hard to go wrong with breakfast here. The omlettes are fantastic. -

I grew up going to this restaurant, however, the last few years have been a steady decline in quality and a even fast incline in price. Had breakfast recently, and it was un-edible. The bacon was burnt to a crisp, and even when I did take a bite, the bacon had turned, and had a pungent taste.
We ordered take out for fish and chips one night, and literraly got frozen fish sticks, and potato chips. All for 10+ dollars. When we called after we got it hom and asked about it, they said "you asked for fish and chips". I couldn't even argue their logic.. I won't be going back. It used to be the only option in town, but those days have changed.
