Ode to a White Castle by Bucky K.
Oh White Castle... How do I love thee?? Let me count the ways...
One... After digesting your food, my farts smell just like your hamburgers as they come off the grill.
Two... Who couldn't love a square beef patty with holes in it?? Can you imagine a more natural looking burger??? I cannot!
Three... They don't refer to you as Slyders without a reason...
Four... I applaud your courage in not even attempting to make the fried chicken appear natural and go for the Chicken Rings look. Bravo!!!
Five... Thank you for being open all night and quelling my desire for food I shouldn't be eating. Also, thank you for keeping the lobby open for when I am too inebriated to drive.
Six... I. Miss. You.
I could go on and on, but alas... I shall not. Remembrance of meals passed is bringing on a wave of unwanted melancholy. Whenever your travels bring you through the glorious town of New Albany make sure to stop in the vanglorious W. C. Lounge. You won't regret it, especially if you are hammered.
FYI: The Beastie Boys are no longer correct. White Castle fries come in MORE than one size...
