I was a complete tourist here. I had no idea that the other foods were better known than the burgers. So, my brother and I just tried the tiny burgers and they were so soggy! The workers were so loud, too.

I was so glad that I went during the day cuz it's kind of scary in that area. A few homeless people go in and out of the place. Overall, the place is kind of dirty and a little run-down. The bathroom was so big, too, and dirty. Surprisingly, it wasn't THAT dirty; it was use-able.

By the way, I went here two years ago.

Can you eat more than 10 without having bouts of itis/gastrointenstinal discomfort?

I still haven't been to one that i can attest the answer is yes although i always like to walk that fine line at work.  This White Castle is no exception especially because it is probably dirtier than most due to the construction around this area.

While i do like those greasy ass cheeseburgers i have to say i am thoroughly disappointed at this one.  Most White Castles also come with a Church's Chicken (in fact i think this one used to be combined) which is why i cannot give my stamp of approval.  When i eat healthy i eat healthy.  When i eat like a glutton let me do my thing...tear some chicken up and wash it down with about 8 cheeseburgers...

Bring Back Church's Chicken, let a dude live.

If you don't like White Castle, get away from me.

It is will-ride-an-escaped-cheetah amazing. I can't get enough of these fluffy, flavorful, greasy sliders. It had been 3 years since my last White Castle encounter and nothing was going to get between me and double cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers and chicken rings. Burgers by the sack. Oh my, I have no words.

The location is prime. Right above the F train Jay St. stop. The restaurant is really spacious. Of course it has that grimy fast food chain feel about it. In the middle of the food feast, a voice came over a loudspeaker announcing to us that we are being recorded on closed circuit television. Small price to pay for some White Castle.

I especially like the retro White Castle ad posters that adorn the walls. "White Castle....part of a well-balanced diet". Circa 1940s and still holds true today!

This came up out of nowhere, during my glorious adventure with my man.  We were roaming the random streets of Brooklyn after crossing the Manhattan Bridge and about to cross the Brooklyn Bridge (aww so cute) and we came across this place.  I got all excited, there's so much hype about this joint and people say it's something everyone needs to try.

Hmm was it to try something less than mediocre?  What's up with movies and their promotions?  Serendipity 3 was not good yet the movie made it seem like it was this beautiful, romantic place my man kept wanting to go to, and now, Harold and Kumar have tricked me.  The tiny burgers concept sounds appealing, but in reality, it just looks like sad pieces of lil' meat slapped on to two wrinkled mini buns.  I'd have Five Guys and/or In N Out any day over this.

What's the lesson learned?  Not to believe in movies.  You know, like what they said about believing you're the rule and not the exception.

No, I can't suppress my idealistic self.  We can all be the exception, dammit!
