Review from Kristine D.
Mountain View, CA
One of the many splendid offerings inside Hillview Park, the Whistle Stop Playground is located next to the Los Altos History Museum. Newly redone, the playground gives a nod to the early days of Los Altos when the then rural enclave was a country stop on the train line. The entire playground is a train and train station theme. Older kids, like my 6-year-old insists that she is, may remember the Whistle Stop playground when the train cars and buildings were made of wood. These had weathered away and become weak. This newer playground is structured of tough, durable materials that are common in newer playground areas. Your kids won't care what they're constructed with, they'll have fun. All Aboard!
