The whiffletree (located at 28 main street according to my receipt) is the type of small town home cooking restaurant that demands a mandatory stop if you're driving through rural ohio.
We stopped here after a morning canoe trip at mohican, and had quite a good lunch. I had the pork loin sandwich, and it was fried nice and crispy, but not greasy at all. It was very good.
The dessert was also excellent, with plenty of brown sugar packed into the apple crisp I had.
BEST RESTAURANT EVER! Some of my friends and me go there since its right at the end of the bike trial. I always look forward to going there. Everything is made from scratch and is amazing. The meatloaf is to die for and the breakfast is awesome too. The service is great and is defiantly bike friendly and it relatively cheap. A MUST when in rural Central Ohio :)
