Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, "What a burger!" He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, "Whataburger." Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The employees are sweet and attentive, so not their fault the quality of food sucks. They are just given the tools the corporate office feels is right. I hope the employees have further success and growth, they deserve the 5 stars. The food itself is a 1 star.
Heard about this place from others who live and swear this place is amazing. After trying this, I learned these people are sick individuals that can't be trusted.
Ordered the bacon avocado burger, chili cheese burger, and the bacon cheese what a burger.. this is now my lowest tier for fast food. The avocado was a paste. The bacon was crunchy and i think the best part. The hamburger meat was dry. Southern Bacon Double Burger on requested on Texas Toast is good. The Texas toast was a little too much grilled or flattened a little bit. It had a lot of flavor. And I tasted multiple flavors in every bite. That is so cool. I understand it is a limited time item. It is really good I was not disappointed. As always the crew is always nice.

Went to this location pretty late at night. The employees were smoking weed in the lot and when they saw me pull into the drive through, they said they had "technical issues" and couldn't take an order.

Ordered ahead and orders were NOT ready. What's the point of the apps. Sighs. ZERO stars if there was one. Drive thru is moving faster than the app.

The food is good at this location, however the service is absolutely horrific. I just moved to the area and have been to this whataburger 4 times. Today was the 4th and they were so slow I left. I would seriously just expect a 20-30 minute wait. They move at a snails pace. Not sure what the deal is. I had one car in front of me at the drive through and never got to the window before leaving. Also, 2/3 times I did get my food, they got the drink wrong. For comparison I immediately drove to a Filiberto's less than a mile away and had 2 cars in front of me and got served in about 5 minutes.

Super nice people working during my visit. Fries were hot and fresh. I was really impressed. Ate inside and got better service than some actual sit down restaurants.
Other reviews on here which seem to be fixated on the ethnicity of the workers here are racist and wrong. If you can't stand people because of who they are or how they look, you don't belong in midtown.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 13, 2022
I have never had an issue here. Asked if the spicy sandwich was good and they said yea. I order it and pull up and pay. After payment they stated there is a 10 minute wait on the chicken. I said that's unacceptable can I change to a burger instead. They said no I have already paid. No refund was offered. They then sent me to the front where I have been waiting 11 minutes now.... I will never come back to this location.

Drive through worker was rude and argumentative. She needs to be written up or fired. She argued with me on what I ordered, yet, she didn't listen to begin with.

Staff is always stoned and take forever to get the order right. unprofessional, no customer service, and heaven forbid you have a coupon. SMH...

The two gentlemen working behind the counter were very unprofessional, goofing around and didn't have any type of customer service skills. Made me feel uncomfortable and took over 10 minutes to give me an order of fries and 1 burger. I love the food but the service here is very disappointing.
