nice mall, parking was super easy.

i was going to find some cute wedge shoes at cathy jean.   i found them, and they were 50% off!

but, then i got sucked into the BCBG store because of the sale signs.

This is a great mall in that they have a Nordstroms.  The biggest gripe here is parking which makes me never want to come back.

The Yelper that said that you can find parking, "just not near the store you want" is right on the money.  If I go to Nordstroms, good luck finding a place nearby.

The mall folks also thought it would be a good idea to turn the entire parking area under Nordstroms into a valet lot and car wash.  This is contributing to this problem.  So, there is this giant lot that I have only seen about 1/4 full at most.  Parking elsewhere is problematic, not too convenient when I just want to run in for something.

I can appreciate you are trying to make an extra buck on valet, but I do not feel like paying $6 plus tip just to park.

There are some nice stores but the layout is odd, the parking is a nightmare and everything is so narrow and I feel cramped.

I felt claustraphobic inside this mall.

Its not bad, they even have a Nordstrom and Macys as anchors and some decent upper middle stores,  but I just didn't like my experience here. I will stick with other LA malls instead.

There is nothing here you can't find at other places in LA that aren't as cramped or crowded

Decent shopping center with all of the essentials. There's macy's and nordstrom's to cover the basics. You've got bare essentials, the trendy teeny bopper stores, guess, and express. That's about it. The food court isn't bad and the stores aren't too crowded. The place is clean. Should have MORE RESTROOMS though. There's like one and it's irritating if you really have to go.

This mall on Pico is very big; my problem with it is that I find it difficult getting around.  It has an odd layout, and while parking can be found, you may not be able to find it close to the store you want to visit.  But there is one plus: the parking is free.

There are a lot of stores here (Macy's, a pretty good Macy's furniture store, Nordstrom, Barnes & Noble, Leonidas Chocolate, Ann Taylor, Hot Topic, Planet Funk, etc.).  However, I rather shop elsewhere.  Westside Pavilion kind of has a drab feeling to it.

They did upgrade the theater with the Landmark, which is a lot better than the previous theater.  In terms of the food court, skip it.

This my go-to wall when I need to get my shopping on. Recently it has really pulled itself out of depression of sorts and has new stores, better parking, a great movie theater, and a better food court. I've been coming here for years and I prefer it to the Promenade (too many teens) and Century City (too many oldsters, too far away, too complicated).

Now if they could only get rid of that hideous pet store..

First visit here, ever. I work nearby but rarely visit places in area since I am primarily in LA for work. On occasion, I will visit the local Best Buy shops, but that's just about it.

It's a very clean mall, and I came here to visit a Gamestop store just to pickup PS3 SingStar microphones (because karaoke games are COOL). 3 stories of stores, plenty of walking runway. A few stores sparked my eye, so I do plan to come back here in the future.

It did seem kind of dead, but hopefully that's because the economy sucks.

The layout is too simplistic (a single long corridor with a few floors). The only reason why I went here was because I was having a meeting with members of an online forum (kinda like Yelp) for individuals interested in test driving a hydrogen powered cars, like the Chevy Equinox, at the food court and parking structure.

It is not impressive from the outside and the parking structure is very narrow and cramped. The portfolio of stores are your typical mid-range stores anchored by a Macy's and Nordstrom. You are seriously better off going to the Westfield Century City a few miles north.

There is a newer extension past Nordstrom with a Barnes and Noble and a Landmark Theaters that does offer a nice view of the streetscape of west LA, which is why I've given one extra star. I haven't been there, but the layout of the theater looks pretty modern.

I actually really like this mall. It's pretty much a one-stop-shop for me during my lunch break or after work. I can get my eyebrows threaded, stock up on Clinique (at either Macy's or Nordstroms), buy my Bare Essentials, buy shoes at Aldo or Cathy Jean, get my nails done, get Persian for lunch from Charlie's Kebob, and get an ice blended Hazelnut from Coffee Bean. They even have a See's Candy and a place that will make keys ('cause you know, the BF lost his key the first few times I gave him a copy. Thankfully he's going on 6 months with the same copy at this point.) They also sharpen knives.

OH! And there is also a post office, very convenient because it's right next to the salon where I get my brows done.

The parking is so easy! Like another reviewer said, you gotta go up to the top!

However, if you go during the day on a work day - be prepared to dodge swarms of mothers and their strollers. There are SWARMS of them. I mean.... Literally. You pull up and park and there are at least 5 mothers getting the Bugaboo out of the back of the Range Rover. They like to monopolize the Coffee Bean stand with their strollers, and give everyone else dirty looks (I can attest to this!).

Also, there is a pet store with cute little puppies in the front windows - which all of the irresponsible parents allow their misbehaving children go and bang on. I've never walked by that store and not seen hundreds of smeared 5 year old hand prints plastered all over the bottom.

So for having a pet store and being over populated with rude mothers... I cut a star.

Shitty place.

I got an infection from here.  I came back to talk to the owner (or the manager), and she totally said that it was my fault.  I might have done something to my toes that was why it happened.  Because of this place, I hate spa (put my feet in the bowl which many people have been put in).   Luckily, I have found one salon that I could relax myself on the massage chair without worry about getting any infection.  Even though I had to drive in the center of the Village.  I used to hate the parking there but now I know that I could park 2 hours for free on broxton.

Oh my gosh... I am so bored... I want to go... I hate that mall...
Westside Pavillion doesn't have any special store. I have been there many times, on their parking lot, haha, but inside the mall is so...dead.
I mean, this isn't the mall that you go shopping and, if single, will find some hot guys... This is the mall where you can stop by if need something small. Nothing special.
They opened a few months ago some movie theaters by it but I've never been there. All the movies nowadays, suck.

This mall blows.

I guess it's not the worst mall I've been to, I mean at least it has a Nordstrom.  But what else?  Nothing.  It's one of those malls you go to when you need something quick and want to avoid crowds and dealing with parking.  Like if you need a new special bra to give the illusion of a rack (which I did, and they happen to have a Victoria's Secret which worked just lovely).  The stores are nothing special and the layout is up and down straight back and forth.  Snore.

Wait, I just read that this was the mall in Clueless?  How exciting!  I just watched Clueless again and still love it!  But too bad the mall still sucks.  Such a shame.

I don't really like this mall.  A mall should have a layout like a starfish or your hand, sprawling over a large area outwards. This place is like shopping in a five-story shoe box. Just end to end. Very boring.

Also the stores are packed in too tight. Not enough roaming room here.

I love malls and I've been to my fair share. This is an awful mall. It's like the people that work there have a vendetta against everyone.

I only went to this mall because I was in the area and had to return things at BCBG and Nordstrom. The people at BCBG are the worst. They ended up cheating me out of $20 because they can't do math. I am a huge fan of Nordstrom and the service there was fine but the store is completely outdated. The entire mall is actually outdated.

DON'T GO TO THIS MALL!!!

The drive to Topanga Canyon or the Grove is worth the time.

this mall is horrendous! the only times i come here are 1) to see a movie 2) to go slum it in macy's or 3) to eat at nordstrom cafe. it's really difficult to find parking here, too, for some reason, even though i've never seen the inside of the mall packed.

i don't know if i could name a single store in here besides the major department ones and barnes and noble. they're all that worthless/boring. plus, the food court has coffee bean instead of starbucks. AGGGHH!!!

this really is the closest major mall to me, which blows. i hate the beverly center even more and the grove just doesn't cut it. you would think living on the westside where everyone has tons of money (well, maybe not everyone *points to self*) they could drum up some decent shopping.

it's funny how this was the mall pictured in 'clueless'. i can't imagine someone like cher shopping at this mall today.

Have to admit that the stores here are pretty decent, but there's something about the narrow walkways that bothers me.  The combination of the narrow walkways and the multi-level heights is nausating. Parking is really irritating too.  ick.

I actually like this mall, especially for the food court. There's this great place there called East Wind that has a yummy tofu & veggie bowl that's only about $6 and really good. Sooo much better than that generic Panda Express crap.

The only downside is the mall exterior, which looks like it could use a new coat of paint. It looks nice inside though.

This mall brings shame to the idea of shopping in LA. It really is a big disappointment. The only worthwhile things here are the Landmark theater and Nordstrom (which is a mediocre Nordstrom at that). If I ever go to this mall, I will only actually go inside the Guess store, ANGL, Norstrom, and occasionally Express. I can't even think of other stores at this moment because they're just not that interesting... Seriously- the Westfield Century City is like a mile away. I'd MUCH rather go there!

This mall has always had something for me: as a teen, it was Express, Gap and PacSun (and Panda Express at the food court). Now it's Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and Limited (and California Crisp).

There's also a cheap nail salon, a place I always get my hair cut, and a threading place for eyebrows. Now, pair all this with a Steve Madden store and a movie theatre that shows only indies, and it's still my favorite mall!

The only downside is the recent official closure of the Westside Too part of the mall, and with it, the Borders bookstore that connected the two halves.

A yelper calls this the 'world's most depressing mall.'  I beg to differ since unless you've been around the world and made a comparision of other depressing malls, you can't make the claim.  I think Fox Hills mall is even more depressing than Westside Pavilion but that's beside the point.

Contrary to another yelper's review, there is a GAP and it has Barnes and Noble NOT Borders.  There's also Landmark theatres so it's not all bad.

The shops are a mix of family stores (lotsa of children's boutiques) and your usually mall staples eg. Banana Republic, Macys, and Nordstrom.

It's quiet even on weekends except in Nordstrom and well, that's it.  My man loves it cos' he can seek refuge in Barnes and Noble while I peruse the sale rack at BR.  Hmm, this is like his favorite store cos' it's never crowded.  Ladies, if you want serious shopping done, please avoid this place.  But for a less frenzied shopping experience, Westside isn't that bad.

Nordstrom is the only reason I go to the Westside Pavilion. It was the mall in Clueless, don't ya know?

But other than that I tend to skip over the rest of the mall. The parking is hell on the weekends, so give up the $3 and use the valet.

Hopefully their renovation coming this summer will add some lovelyness.

This mall has the typical mall stores (you can look on their website for a list of the specific stores).  It seems to be a super boring place for guys but not so bad for girls if you're looking for basics.  I don't think it's worth a long drive to get to, but the parking is free and the movie theaters aren't crowded.

One still has to appreciate a mall that has free parking, something that has been disappearing. It's a nice sized mall that has a distinct smell to it, a little sweet and plastic-y. But nevertheless, my favorite feature of the mall is the B&N and the little obscure movie theater (where I saw napoleon dynamite). For those cinnabon freaks, they have one here. Think of this as the mall that used to be cool before the new mall came in.

Is three floors really necessary? I mean, they don't even have good enough stores to fill up two.

It's good if you know exactly what you want-- GNC or Lady Foot Locker or Victoria's Secret, etc. But it's not a browsing mall. It's never crowded, though, which is a plus.

A decent mall with quite possibly the worst parking structure in the history of parking structures. It's even worse than the all-new structure at the Bed Bath and Beyond on Olympic--another disaster and probably the same architect.
Once inside, though, you'll find a few nice stores including a Nordstrom "lite" (the young mens section is a fraction of other stores).

Not much of a selection for food, but you can always cross Pico and head over to Apple Pan for a decent burger and slice of pie.

Back to the parking, save yourself some agony and park under the Landmark theaters.

Say what you want about Westside but I was in dire need of getting some last minute items today after work and I have to admit, the fact that it's not as busy as the Beverly Center and the Century City Mall has HUGE perks, I was in and out with my items in 15 minutes flat. They have a Nordstrom, Macy's and all the basics one would need to shop for the "I just need a t-shirt" crowds. Plus the lack of out to be seen types is also a big relief. Oh and the free parking is the icing on the cake!

It gets the job done if you're on the run, but this mall doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of variety.  It has only two department stores (nordstroms and rob-may) and a small number of shops.  Plus, if you haven't discovered the parking lot across the street on top of Barnes & Nobles, then parking can get complicated.  Twisting, winding and spread apart, the parking structure is a migraine.  I guess they tried to compensate for the small mall.

I was at this mall on a Saturday evening...a time when all malls are usually packed but there were hardly anyone here.  The mall felt lonely and dozens of vacant units were covered with blank white boards without any notice of  "(name of new stores) coming soon".  Most of the shoppers hung out at the food court it seemed, but even then there weren't that many people.  Regular stores like Macy's, Nordstrom, Banana Republic, Foot Locker, are there so I guess it's okay to come here if you enjoy shopping in a quiet "spooky" environment.  As for me, I would rather drive up to Beverly Center.

Thumbs up for the convenient location, non-crowdedness (even on weekend afternoons), Nordstrom, BCBG, and lack of a Gap. Thumbs down for the parking (quite possibly the most confusing mall parking in LA), and the kids play area smack dab in the middle of the food court. The mall used to be better when it still had a Barnes & Noble, but that's supposed to reopen in June, along with a big ass theater. See, there is hope for Westside Pavilion yet.

i might be the only reason why i like this mall but here are my reasons why:

sometimes, i just want to shop. i don't want to people watch or be stuck in traffic or pay stupid parking fees. i just want to shop, dammit and this mall has most of the stores i shop at (BR, Victoria's secret, nordstrom, macy's, steve madden, etc. etc.)

I remember when this mall was bumping (before the grove came into existence). I actually prefer it without so many horrible people walking around and bumping into me and snagging my merch before i can get to it. when i want a good shopping experience where the salespeople actually pay attention to you, i come here.

I also come here to get my eyebrows threaded at ZIBA. I started realizing that as the mall started "dying", more and more service-oriented stores started propping up, replacing the ubiquitous retail clothing stores. In this mall, you'll find plenty of nail salons, beauty salons, hair salons, i think there's even a laser or skin place. It's great because PARKING IS FREE. I can't imagine going to a place like the grove to get my nails or hair done and then pay the exorbitant parking fees. I don't know... maybe they validate and you only have to pay $2 but that's still $2 that I don't have to pay at WP.

The Westside II, when it first opened, was kind of a disappointment and I thought they'd never recuperate. However, now they have landmark theaters, which is slowly starting to outdo the arclight and it's free parking (again, this is the lure for angelenos everywhere).

I just with Barnes and Nobles didn't have to shut down the studying portion. I went here a few days ago and was a bit disappointed that there was no more space to study.

They should bring in a cheescake factory of joe's crabshack or something for the fatty food lovers.

Ehhh...beverly center is a great place to hang out...but Westside pavillion mall has it all! I love the atmosphere and shops! This place is probably one of the most cleanest malls around, It's fun to go to, shop at and the food court is not to shabby either! I think its also home to the worlds smallest elevator....
