My family and I took a little trip to Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholder meeting. We all own some shares so figured it would be a fun little family reunion. Not realizing it was so difficult to get a hotel room we were only able to find a room available in Council Bluffs, Iowa (10-12 miles from the Qwest Center where the meeting is held). The Western Inn was NOT a good choice. Rooms are a decent size but really dirty. The sheets/comforters do not seem to have been properly cleaned. There is no fitness center but there is a small ghetto little pool. There is wireless which is nice so I can sit in my hotel room and yelp about how bad this place is.
