Do not use them for your hardwood floors!
My first impression of this place was that they were unprofessional. I should have paid more attention to that first impression because it was accurate. They have no customer service skills whatsoever.
We took home a few samples and then they came to our home for a quote. We specifically asked if the wood we chose was going to be hard enough to withstand our dog and they said yes (the wood had a medium rating and we would have picked a harder one if they said it wasn't going to be enough). This second impression was better, the price was good and since we knew others who were happy with them, we decided to go with them.
After that, things only got worse. First, they used our kitchen chairs as stepstools, putting a few dings in them. Not major damage, but still, who does that? After the first day of installation, we had some questions and called them to discuss the chairs and ask our questions. They acted like we were ridiculous for even asking and that we should just trust them. How can I trust a company that has already acted unprofessionally by using and damaging my furniture?
In the end, they agreed to pay for our chairs, so we subtracted the cost from the amount we owed them, BUT they wanted to actually take the two damaged chairs with them. I could not get it through to them that they were not buying these chairs off me, but they were paying for their own lack of professionalism. Not up to arguing, I gave in and let them have the chairs (this is unlike me, I should have fought harder).
A few weeks later I get an invoice from them with a letter saying that they lost our check and can I write another one. Not only that, but they put our payment due in the 30-60 day late column! I was infuriated and took a long time to send them another check (subtracting) the $30 fee that it cost to cancel the first one and sent a nasty letter along with it listing all of their unprofessional behavior and letting them know I will tell everyone I know not to use them.
They did do a beautiful job on the hardwood floors, but it was not worth it with everything else we put up with. Plus, a few months later they were all scratched up from the dog anyway. Wish they had been honest so I could have chosen a harder wood.
This happened exactly a year ago, but I was not yelping back then and I am so happy to have a place to write all this now.
I repeat: Do not use them for your hardwood floors!
They will only sell to install!!
They get a star because they just finished their showroom and it is GORGEOUS with tons of samples, samples samples.
But take your business elsewhere.
