I went to Westcott Physical Therapy for close to a year. Everyone is very friendly and down to earth and they make you feel very welcome. I was originally referred here for bursitis in the hip, but after working with me a couple of times, Abha felt there was more to my pain, as well as believing that my back was somehow also involved. She suggested an MRI. I ended up with 2 MRIs, one showing a labral tear in my hip, and the other showing 2 protruding discs in my lower back. I was very impressed with Abha's keen ability to detect these things and to point me onto the right path.
Due to her, I began being treated for my actual ailments. I had had this injury for a couple of years without knowing what it was. Due to this, I had lost a lot of strength in my hips. Abha helped me go from having approx. 5% of the strength I should have in my hip, to at least 50% by the time our therapy was done. She did this with a combination of ultrasound therapy and exercises isolating the muscles surrounding the injured hip.
She also helped me to understand what was not working right in my hip and what she was trying to help happen there. She explained how I should treat the hip when sore, with ice packs and stretching, etc. I found out most of the things I was doing before going here, to deal with the pain and to attempt to exercise anyway, probably were only making things worse. I am extremely thankful for this new understanding as it has aided me in continuing to strengthen my hip after therapy was over. Abha also formulated a home therapy routine, which I still do daily, and went over what machines at the gym I could use and how I should use them.
Everyone here is absolutely awesome, but Abha helped me more than she will ever know. She cares a lot about her clients and is very hands on with them.THANK YOU!! -

I have been going to Lance for physical therapy since late last year. His knowledge goes way beyond anyone I have met in the field. Along with his team, Westcott Therapy has created a welcoming and focused environment that makes the "repair work" both successful and inviting (i.e. fun!!). The space and equipment are state-of-the-art.
This team of physical therapists are results-oriented and really do care. I would (and do!) recommend this practice to anyone with absolutely no hesitation. -

I came to Westcott for physical therapy related to lower back pain after seeing a spine specialist at Stanford.
I received fantastic care from Abha over a lengthy period of time. While my back pain was not "cured", we made a great deal of progress by combining ultrasound, manual therapy, and building out a challenging program of core strengthening and stabilization exercises. Abha was excellent and constantly updating the exercises both during our sessions and my home program, to make sure they were challenging enough to promote continued improvement.
Additionally she did a wonderful job explaining what was happening, and why each exercise or stretch we added would contribute to increased functional endurance for my back.
I can't recommend Abha, and the rest of the Westcott team enough. -

I have received excellent care at Westcott PT. The physical therapists are well trained and professional. Sarah is always on schedule and provides individualized attention throughout my entire treatment. She and Lance have a great report with their patients. The office staff made sure I was well aware of my out of pocket expenses, so there haven't been any billing surprises. I would highly recommend my friends and family to Westcott PT. I am a physical therapist myself and and will happily refer patients here.

I have a neurological disease. It happens that Westcott PT is one of the few out-patient PT providers with knowledge about how to deal with it. They are much more personal than the cold PT chains where you're with an unfamiliar therapist each time.
The staff is very friendly and flexible; they also seem accommodating regarding handling your billing for your medical insurance carrier. They've relocate to a newer setting on 2nd St near Main Street, still in the midst of downtown Los Altos formerly the location of the Los Altos Coffee Shop).

Westcott PT is a really great place. I felt really comfortable and always welcomed at my visits. The staff is very down to earth and makes each visit enjoyable. Lance really takes the time to get to know his patients and tries his hardest to make sure you get the right treatment. I've had back pain for about six years now and I finally feel like its getting better. Thank you Westcott PT for all your hard work. You would be crazy not to choose them.

I am Westcott Physical Therapy's biggest fan!!! Lance helped me to recover from a "world class" (my dr.'s words) ankle sprain. He used many different types of therapy to aid my recovery. He really listened to me and cared about how I was doing. He set realistic goals and worked with me to achieve them. I have since spoken about him so much a couple of my friends have gone to see him and have experienced the same level of care. Westcott Physical Therapy is by far the best!
