Despite me having an appointment to close my account, Hamadou treated me with such kindness and accommodated me like no other. I wish all bankers were like him. Thanks Hamadou!

This location is never helpful I have gone to them and ask a question that they would not help me with and then I drove around to the closer Wells Fargo around union station and they were glad to help me out with my issue my most recent experience was one person on the floor who is working with someone and an employee walking around on his lunch break I understand he's on a break but there was a lot of people waiting so maybe he shouldn't have been walking for customers to see who have a short break or short time to get things done

Went in white intentions of just cashing a check because my account was over drawn. But Maziar really took care of me and helped me with my account and my check . He is the definition of customer service and hospitality and even tho it's a small branch he did everything he could to make sure I left happy . Thank you for making my day.

Went in, tried to deposit three checks. One was jammed, the other was rejected and the third was torn in half by the machine. When I asked for help I was treated extremely rudely by an employee who had no interest in helping me. She was very rude and very sarcastic. I asked for a supervisor and expressed my frustration. He reacted very rudely as well. Then he asked me to leave and told me he was going to close my account. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with any business of any kind. Avoid at all costs.

Exclent customer service. I was so happy that I decided to come in here last week friday. The Lady who was working was so professional and helpful and I loved how they told me all my options and did not push me into getting anything that I didn't want. Too often bankers can be like car sales men but Not at this location!!! And I happen to have my son with me and they gave him some cookies while I opened up an account. I am a credit union member and really don't like banks but Wells Fargo at the NoMa location has raised the bar when it comes to customer service! Good Job!!! So glad to be banking here :-)

I went in to make a deposit to my friends account. I was greeted by two people and both asked how they can help me. I told the male employee (who I later found out is the store manager Maziar) that I wanted to make a deposit into my friends account. He asked if I had the account number and I said yes.

Maziar asked what type of deposit I was making and I told him a cash deposit he then asked if I banked with Wells Fargo and I said no. He told me I could only make a check deposit specifically a money order or cashier's check if I didn't have an account with WF. I asked if it was a new policy because I've always made cash deposits in the past to Wells Fargo account holder and I don't have an account. He told me it wasn't possible and provided me with two options: change the cash to a cashiers check or open an account, neither of which I was okay with. He told me I could go to another branch that had tellers and they could help me there. I asked if he knew where the nearest branch was. It was 20 mins before closing and I wanted to make sure my friend had the money in her account.

The location he told me wasn't showing up in google maps so I asked if he gave me the right address. As I'm attempting to find a nearby branch, he's asking me why I don't bank with Wells Fargo and who is my current bank. I told him I don't bank with Wells Fargo because it isn't convenient for me. He kept pushing and stated if I banked with Wells Fargo, I wouldn't have to look for a nearby branch because he'd be able to make the deposit or I could transfer through their convenient banking options. I told him I liked my bank because the employees didn't behave like used sales cars men. He took offensive to my comment and asked me to leave the branch. I asked for what and he said because I wasn't doing business and you can't loiter in the bank. I asked him if he was serious and he said yes. I told Maziar another reason I liked my bank is because they hire good people with good customer service skills which Wells Fargo seems to make a low priority. He told me he was calling the cops so I told him to go ahead. I wasn't done looking up the address to the nearest location so I wasn't done conducting business yet. He walked out the branch and I continued to look for a nearby branch.

Once I located a branch that I could walk to quickly before closing, I exited the branch. As I was exiting I saw Maziar talking with an female officer. Maziar started pointing at me and shouting, "That's her, That's her." The officer walked up to me and asked what the problem was. I told her I didn't have a problem, Maziar did. He recanted his version of events and I told mine. The officer asked him how was I disturbing the peace, (as he told her) and he lied and said I was yelling and saying the customer service sucked. I asked the officer if I was free to go because I have business to attend to. She said yes and I apologized for wasting her time then proceeded to Union Station location.

Maziar is completely unprofessional and lacks the sophistication, patience and customer service skills required to be in a management position. I've never had any bad experiences at Wells Fargo prior to this visit. I suggest he takes some more training classes because his service skills are not up to par with my previous encounters!

Bank somewhere else. Staff is not helpful and will waste your time having to call the "back office." Staff obviously had no experience opening payee accounts, but kept asking for unnecessary documents. I should have went to the Rockville branch as suggested, but I thought that the employees at this branch would be competent enough to get this done. I suggested calling the contact at the Rockville branch to just confirm that the social security number of the beneficiary is the nine digit number on the letter from the SSA, but the employee refused to call. Complete garbage customer service. It's for the best, no need to give " the new Wells Fargo" business anyway.
