Weggy Winery is located in southwest Wisconsin and the quality of the wine is on par with the region.
If you're serious about your red wine and snooty about everything else, move on solider - but if you're interested in trying some sweeter whites or even some fruit wine you're in serious business. Excellent cranberry wine, some great apple wines, and a number of decent Riesling-like bottles make this a great place to hit up if you're passing through the area. Marly, the co-owner, is great - incredibly friendly and accommodating, and gives you all the info you'll need about the wine.
