Did you catch that pizza show on deep cable and say, "I go to Jersey a few times a year, what's the deal with that Jersey bar pie"? Me too.
Let's start with what brought me here: a bar pie near my hotel. Turns out theirs are made frozen by a local pizzeria. They taste like Elio's with more cheese. Surprisingly thick crust for what I thought was supposed to be uber thin n crispy. Also, all lagers on tap, no IPAs for fatty :(
So why the high rating? Terrific vibe. Small bar, pool table, as many TVs as seats (well, not really, but you get it). Friendly bartender, very much a Cheers, everyone knows your name type joint. Don't go for the pizza, but if you want a quintessential neighborhood dive, pop on in.

This bar has all the makings of a varsity athlete (Sopranos reference, which I thought was appropriate because I was in NJ recently). Mostly a local crowd, which is super cool because if you make friends you can go in again the next day or the next year and you'll see some of the same familiar faces again! Limited, but great bar food and a nice pool table! Ask for my favorite bartender Celines (nothing against the others - they are all super awesome - just giving my friend a plug!).

As soon as one walks in folks at the bar and the bartender treat you like family. Great happy hour specials... nips are 2 for $3. Menu has a variety and great prices. Kitchen closes at 8pm and happy hour ends at 7pm. Full bar...if u are looking for a small cozy local place where no matter who you are you will be treated like family. Several Tv's to watch what you want.

I'm not usually one for dive bars, but I had a lot of fun at this one. When you first walk in there is a pool table. There is a long bar with plenty of seats. I went on a Friday night, there was a small group of people at the bar so the bartenders were very attentive. Bar closed at 2 rather than 130 which is rare for local bars when they aren't busy. I didn't try the food so I can't comment on it

Before the Giants game begins, we all decided to pick this place to have a little fun. Danielle, the bartender is so damn friendly. Very energetic woman and is willing to make us happy and she did! One of us asked for a special drink mix, she has never heard of a mix and decided to make fifth shot for herself to drink too! She called it "Michigan Special" So when you do read this, ask do her and this special drink! This place also have a happy hour from 4 to 7, go and check this place !

First time here came to see a cowboys game BEST bar great owners Willie and Trudy. Staff and customers were awesome. Food and Drinks were awesone!
