Wedgewood Delta View truly is a godsend... perfection!

I just had my wedding there two weeks ago and I am still riding on cloud 9 because I can't believe how unbelievably perfect the night went.

My hubby and I were stress cases prior to finding Wedgewood and once we DID find them, all of that stress went out the door. WWDV has wonderful packages that will fit most needs and budgets. I can't tell you how awesome it was to sit down and look through books and make selections, rather than scouring the Internet to find ideas of what it is I wanted. My package included our invites and RSVP cards, champagne flutes, personalized cocktail napkins, buffet dinner, cake, DJ, ceremony, and so MUCH more! Our wedding planner Amanoel was such the best. He reviewed options with me, answered any and all of the many questions I had, made suggestions, took care of details on the wedding day that were beyond his scope... he made everything PERFECT!

Everyone always says that your wedding day will be a blur...and it was... but my OCD pain in the a** self still would have noticed if something was off and I didn't... I am very lucky to say that my wedding day went off without a hitch.

If you are looking for a very affordable, beautiful facility and no nonsense way of planning your wedding you have to go to Wedge Wood Delta View.

Thank you Amanoel and WWDV staff, you guys are AMAZING!

We held my daughter's wedding at Wedgewood Pittsburg on April 23, 2011. My overall rating, if I were NOT including the services of the wedding planner who is provided with the venue, would be a 4+ to a 5 star rating. Other than the wedding planner - Amanoel, we were extremely happy with everything provided through the venue - catering, bar services, florist, bakery, dj, clergy. We had a very limited amount of time to plan this wedding and in fact, our wedding date had to change once and they were very accomodating to our situation. The DJ, Jason, was great!! I would definitely use him again if the need arises again! The florist, Paula's Family Florist in Antioch, and the bakery, La Gateau in Martinez were both great too. I can't say enough good things about the catering staff and bartenders -- they were awesome!!

I personally was very disappointed (and frankly, very frustrated) with the planner, Amanoel. He was a really nice guy - but, (as mean as it may sound) not very competent when dealing with the details. He didn't seem to be the think and plan ahead kind of guy -- and in this line of work, it's all about planning ahead!! If your event is assigned to him, I highly recommend staying right on top of every request you make of him. It would be in your best interest to follow up on all the details that is important to you - and when you do follow up, be sure to follow up again!! Lay out in writing every request and expectation - whether you think it's obvious or not - ask about it!!

In summary, I would definitely use Wedgewood Banquets again - the "package deal" product and services they offer is invaluable because it saves so much time and headache!! However, if I were required to use Amanoel again - I would take my business elsewhere. I would not work with Amanoel again. There were things that fell through the cracks during my daughter's wedding that should never have. It took me a while to write my review because I wanted to calm myself and allow myself to "get over it!" I have gotten over it BUT, if I can spare the next bride - or mother-of-the-bride - the same disappointment and frustration, my review would have served it's purpose.

If you live in East Contra Costa and need to throw a big party check out the facilities here.
Set up nicely dance floor, bar, deck, lawn gazebo, buffett area it's ideal for weddings, quinces, graduation parties or whatever you require a more formal party setting for.
Food served was pretty good and staff was attentive.
My only complaint is that it was a little hot in there and no one turned up the a.c.

Very pretty spot. If I was looking to get married and an outdoor type setting this would be an option. The little gazebo overlooks the golf course and looks perfect for a white wedding. The layout is nice for a small intimate wedding. There is a main room for tables and dancing, another for food service and a large bar. The service was very good, they were always refilling the water, sodas and coffee. This place was conducive to a family graduation celebration we had a great time.

My wife and I had the best time preparing for our wedding with Wedgewood. Everything was turnkey and we could not have asked for a better catered and managed event. We have been complimented many times for our selection of venue as well as the food. I have seen all of the shows on TV with my wife with crazy brides, but thanks to a highly organized wedding planner, a great venue, excellent catering staff, and reliable contractors (IE Dj's, ministers, florists, cake designers, etc.) our event ran very smooth with a very low level of stress so that we can entertain our guests without worrying about things that we forgot. Everything was taken care of prior to the event. I highly recommend using this venue for any couple looking to get married.
