WOW Were do I start... My Husband and I just got married there June 13th. Everything was so amazing!!!
Katie is such a sweet heart and has been there for me from the day we booked at Eagle Ridge. Every time i called her she would always be there to help. Most of the time it was Katie who helped my father and I and towards the end of my Planning I dealt with Roxanne and Tiffany who are such sweet hearts :)
Katie , Roxanne and Tiffany really made my wedding day so special and went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I and our parents. They made all my wedding dreams come true and i cant thank them enough :)
I miss having meetings with Katie she always made my family and i laugh and really eased the pressure of wedding planning. The day of my wedding ran so smooth and during the reception Tiffany the Assistant GM was literally poring wine and water. I was so amazed by there service.
My cake turned out so beautiful, it was done by there vendor "I do wedding cakes" Debbie is the cake designer she really did an amazing job! Zilda from party in elegance did all of my linens and there were fabulous! CJ Wallace the DJ was so awesome I really loved his positive attitude and his professionalism . The food was great all my family and friends rave about it.The Flowers were done by Sweet Pea Floral Sonya Beck is the Designer they were beautiful, my Maid of Honor did my bouquet and my pomanders they were so beautiful.
Over all everything was perfect I highly recommend eagle Ridge... The venue is so beautiful and the service was wonderful. Thank you Katie, Roxanne And Tiffany and all the Wedgewood staff for making our wedding day so memorable.

It's April 18th, early evening and my cousin Sarah is getting married.

This was the perfect spot for her and Jeff. They had a beautiful outside ceremony. The mountain views were stunning. The weather was perfect and the venue was amazing.  The lobby/bar area led to the back patio area where you can see the wonderful views. The reception area was really nice. The only con would be the location of the dance floor.  Everyone actually had to get up to see the bride and groom do their dance. The food was pretty good as well. The one hour of open bar was great, of course we took advantage of that, haha.

Overall, this place is highly recommended to love birds who want to get married. From the views to the reception to the food. Splendid.

Till next time--  who's getting married next??

This is another venue my fiance and I checked out. On a sunny day, I can imagine how beautiful the scenic background would be. Hopefully we'll have a sunny day wedding. From the South Bay, the drive would take roughly 45 minutes, but it's definitely not hard to find. Once we drove through the gates, we knew this location will be private and quiet. Although there may be golfers out, they are members and are respectful of your wedding.

This place is an all-in-one venue package. There's always extras you can add in or take out, and that's exactly what we're looking for! The two ladies, Katie and Roxanne are very nice and helpful and you can tell that they are more interested in making sure you will have your dream wedding (within a budget) over just taking your money. My fiance was thinking of having a 5 hour all you can drink alcohol thing, but Roxanne cut in and said that honestly that's a waste of money and most of the guests don't even get up once food is served. With that comment, she saved us a couple thousands of dollars.

There is a nice list to choose from in terms of food, and they are actually really open to having you add in and take out anything so the wedding would be customized to your own needs.

In the case of bad weather, there is a back-up ceremony place (which in my opinion isn't as stunning), but it does the job and keeps you dry and warm.

The bathrooms and bridal room was pretty cool. What I was impressed about was the mouthwash they had. I mean, as a bride, you would want that minty fresh breath, right? The bathroom (public) turns into a bridal room when you walk in deeper. I didn't have a chance to check out the groom's room, but Katie told me it was just a guy's version of the bridal room with a pool table and whatever stuff guys like to do.

What we liked about this place was that all the workers were very friendly and honest, and once again, they weren't about just taking your money. If we do decide to take this place as our wedding location, I will give it an extra star.

My fiance and I went here to take a tour as a place to have our wedding.

We were VERY impressed (I did my research) with not only the facilities but the price. The place is very beautiful and Roxanne was so super friendly and answered all of our questions. She made us feel very comfortable and welcome there. We can't wait to have our wedding here next year!

We were lucky enough to see it set up for a wedding that was going to be taking place that night.

The bar was huge, the views amazing.(even though there are houses in the background, they are really nice houses so you're not looking at some ugly rundown houses).. the banquet room shape was kind of funny.. its not one giant room like most weddings you've been to, but really didn't bother me in the slightest. You can have it arranged so both sides of the room can see the bride and grrom during the dining portion of the reception.

I really like the wrapping porches near the ballroom and cocktail/bar area that your guests are welcome to enjoy... it makes the entire space seem so large. They said we could have the doors open as well if the weather is nice. The fireplaces and icicle lights really add a nice touch to the romantic aspect. PLUS - everything is included! (except photographer and bouquets) and they are more than willing to try and accommodate any of my bridezilla wishes!!

They are super busy, so book early :) I did, so you can't have my date. I'm really excited!!!!

We checked out Eagle Ridge for our wedding venue.

Although I had not been to Eagle Ridge myself:
- I called here for my cousin's shotgun wedding in March (she went to Tahoe instead) and the staff was super sweet and informative
- Then a friend referred Eagle Ridge to me last month because he went to a memorial service here and thought it would be a better wedding location
- Then I referred Wedgewood to a friend because she was looking for a less stressful yet still affordable venue

Everything was telling me: GO HERE!

So I went and I invited my parents. They live too far away to check out every venue with me... and this was the first time I asked them to come. And it must have been because this is THE PLACE!

We showed up half an hour early to our appointment since I was not familiar with the location and planned on meeting my parents who ALWAYS show up early. Katie was still with the previous guests so we had a drink at the bar. My bloody mary was fabulous and the sodas my parents ordered were on the house since we were waiting to meet with Katie.

The hills are gorgeous (even while cloaked in smoke) and the grounds are well kept. The outside of the clubhouse is beautiful. The huge wood bar is impressive. Also, check out the bathrooms! They have a bridal changing area that is unbelievable!

The ballroom has a strange layout but it's acceptable and incredibly beautiful with wrought iron chandeliers, a built in dance floor, and filled with huge windows complete with views of the surrounding hillside.

Katie is amazing. Her sales spiels are funny and informative. She'll make you very comfortable and want to come back! I am looking forward to working with her. And the wedding packages are awesome!

My only real complaint is that there are houses in plain view directly behind the ceremony site. It's rather ugly! I can overlook it because I'm only going to be there half a hour tops, the rest of the place is to-die-for, and I'm marrying the man of my dreams not the gazebo.

Placing our deposit was really easy. The contract is 2 pages and you receive an incredibly informative binder complete with future meeting dates and answers to just about any question you might have.

Katie also let us know that we can pay towards the final bill at any time, even if we wanted to pay $100 a paycheck or lump sums. That would really help with people that are bad at saving!

It will be at least a year before I can revise this... but next... associated vendor reviews!

If only Yelp allowed the user to give negative stars.

I went here a few days ago with a party of ten.  We selected it by its beautiful views of the mountains.  This feature did not disappoint.  The view was really marvelous.  The customer server, however, is less than desirable.

When are large party entered the restaurant we realized we were the only one's there.  The place was empty.  The bar seating area had a few older gentlemen enjoying a beverage after a golf game.  Other than that, we had the place to ourselves.  They were able to quickly pull tables together for our party.  It all went down hill from there.

There was no mention of needing a reservation or of being understaffed.  After placing our drink orders, our waitress takes 25 minutes before returning to our table.  Not only did we wait 25 minutes to get our drink order, but we waited 25 minutes before she took our main order.  I would like to add there was no bread offered to help with the wait.  When she finally returns, she offers no apologies or excuses.  After our lunch orders were placed we waited an additional hour to be served.  During this time, we never saw the manager expressing apologies or explanations for the delay.  We only saw our waitress sparingly and once again, NO BREAD!  We went to the bartender twice to let them know we were HUNGRY!

When our food finally arrived, again, no one said anything about the delay.   To make matters worse, side orders were missed and condiments had to be asked for causing another wait!  Now I will tell you about the food.  BLAND!  I had a half tuna salad and a cup of vegetable beef soup.  There was not even enough tuna to fill across the half sandwich.  Half way through eating, I ran out of tuna.  The cup was small even by small standards, overly salty with very little beef and the vegetables looked sad.   Everyone at the table was disappointed in their portions and nothing came out to our table tasting or looking fresh.  We didn't even get an aroma of just prepared food.

At the end of our meal we expressed our unhappiness with the service.  Our waitresses just giggled and mumbled something no one got.  Again, not even a sorry.  After she brought us the check, she said, "sorry, I forgot to add the 18% gratuity for a large party".  That mistake got us a sorry and quick attention!  Again, we express concerns with the service and again we get blown off.  Before leaving we are told parties over 8 should be called in and they had another large party at the same time as ours.  We saw no other customers, let alone another large party.  Our party of 10 could have easily been two small parties not requiring a reservation.  In a dead restaurant, it should not have been an issue.  At the very least, bread while we wait, a waitress who keeps our beverages full while we wait, and a manager that stops by to express his regret for our wait.

Cons:  bland food; terrible, horrible, service; no bread at the tables; small portions that couldn't fill a child's appetite;

Pros:  a spectacular view, reasonable prices

I have played this golf course before and attended a high school re-union. at the location.  I recently attended a wedding here and thought the place was beautiful.  My friends found this place through Wedgewood Banquet Center and mentioned that it was a country club atmosphere with such affordable prices.

The bar staff was fun, and the drinks were flowing all night.  I remember the food being good and the buffet line had a ton of food to select from.  The music rocked the house and it was a truly great party.  The only bad part was the hangover the next day.
