Waxy O'Shea's Irish Pub & Restaurant

For my first visit to Waxy O'Shea's, I decided to order the jalapeño burger. It was one of the best burgers I've had in recent memory -- the beef patty was flavorful and cooked perfectly. It was topped with pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, fried red onions and a bacon or tomato jam (the menu didn't list the ingredients, so I'm not 100% sure which it was). The side of fries were extra crispy and well seasoned, which I really liked.

The laid-back atmosphere and the great service made the overall experience a great one. I would definitely go back to explore some of the more Irish items and drinks on the menu.

First off we did not make wise decisions when we decided to eat dinner after 9 pm on a Thursday.

The food was not super warm but the kitchen was probably trying to close and hated us.

Our server was kick ass and we later found out he was a manager. Andrew? Drew? Not remembering it right now. Let me tell you this man was running his ass off but provided amazing service to all of his tables.

Give this place a shot. It's worth it.

Just stopped in for a quick bite. Great service. Really quick turn around from the kitchen. We're here about 5pm on a Wednesday. Half price appetizers during happy hour, so we tried the chicken strips. Really crispy, pretty tasty. I have the watermelon splash and a husband had the painkiller. Both really delicious. Husband said the painkiller taste like the Caribbean, lol. The watermelon absolute is yummy!

Nice "irish" style pub. So happy to see Scotch eggs & Weihenstephan on draft. Liked seeing the fountains decorated for Christmas.

We had a fantastic lunch at Waxy O'Shea's. We started off with the Scotch Eggs and had a Ruben and fish and chips. The staff were incredibly efficient and friendly. The bar tender was fantastic. Poured us some lovely pints of Guinness and was very knowledgeable about Scotch, Bourbon, and Whiskey. We thoroughly enjoyed stopping here for lunch.

Service is beyond terrible and food is average if that! When you gotta get up and go to the bar just to get your soft drink refilled its a joke. just like the tip I left.

We got here right during the lunch rush at noon. I had curry chicken Boxty and wife had wicklows chicken. If you like curry then get it here. Mine was AMAZING I SO LOVED EVER BITE. The wife chicken was SO INCREDIBLE. The mash potatoes needed some seasoning but that is how a lot of people make it so you can put salt and pepper to your liking. Service was Amazing I felt like we were only friends and our waiter was SPOT ON with everything. This is one of the BEST meals I have had in Branson hands down.

The service was not very good. They had a price of $4.00 for a glass of wine but charged me $7
The side Caesar salad was $7 and so small, I couldn't believe it. The lettuce was wilted and some of the pieces were rusted. I plan to never go back there

We had a stroller and just wanted to pop in for a cold beer. The staff wanted to seat us at a high top which isn't good with an infant and stroller. They offered this big 6 person booth but it had a step up and no where for us to leave the stroller. There were plenty of open low top tables that would've been perfect near the bar area but they wouldn't allow us to take one. In the end, we left.
