I went to Wax Nashville yesterday for a Brazilian wax with Rochelle. I had gotten this type of waxing before in a fancy salon in DC but it hurt so much (as you might imagine) I never went back. However, yesterday's experience has completely changed my perspective. The staff was friendly and professional. Rochelle made me feel at ease even though I repeatedly stated how nervous I was (and how I almost walked out on my last one). Plus, and this is the best part, they use a different type of wax that hurts less. It hurts, but half as much as normal wax. They also have a numbing cream you can buy for $26.
In addition to comforting staff and less-painful process, the place was clean and nicely decorated. If you're in the market for a Brazilian (or thinking about it) go here!
Wax Nashville is nestled on the far side of Belle Meade in a shopping center along with the Antique Shop. I received the best massage (and I've had my share) from Jo Ann. Prices are inexpensive for what they offer and their location. The atmosphere ideal for relaxation. Their waxing (as their name implies) is also top notch. The technicians take their time to make it right, not to fit their schedule. It's clean, bright (where waxing occurs),and quiet in the massage rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is limited and difficult to maneuver.
