Watson House the
1 review for Watson House the
A lovely house built just after the Revolution. The host, Brandy, is very nice, and really knows the area, which is the heart of the B&B business, having a good host. Breakfast was delicious, and enough to fill you up. She offered several choices, and is a graduate of Johnson and Wales culinary, so eat up.
It's just down the road from Bradley Airport, but off the main drag. We stayed one night, due to another stop we had to make in Plymouth, Mass., but would have stayed longer if it had been possible. Any place in the area can be reached with a short drive.
There is a possible ghost present, but not scary, just a little mischievous. Not a problem at all, except if a circuit breaker goes when breakfast is cooking, and then just a short delay. On the other hand, electricity in a 220 year old house is chancy in all circumstances isn't it. We did love the place, and would stay again if we are in the area.
