A bunch of friends and I rented bikes here when we were visiting NY. They couldn't have been nicer and the whole process couldn't have gone smoother. We wanted to ride up and down the Hudson because it was such a beautiful day and there seems like so much to do over there. I never expected that I would go to NYC to ride bikes but it was the best day I ever had in Manhattan. If you are a tourist, it's really easy to get to; take the #1 subway south to Christopher Street and turn right (west). Walk to the river, it's right there.On another note, I ended up buying the bike I rented because I liked it so much, a Biria.
