I decided to have a couple pages of a newspaper article framed across the street at Ray Street Framing, and the owner, Michelle, suggested I have it re-printed. I was gong to do it myself, since I print wedding invites & have an awesome printer - but my computer crashed :( So... I did all my scanning & retouching on another computer, and simply uploaded the files on the Warp 9 website. Larry e-mailed me with a GREAT quote, and I called him with my credit card number. He then delivered the prints across the street - I can't imagine an easier scenario!
The print turned out really nice! If I ever have problems with my computer and/or printer, I will not hesitate to go to Larry in the future. -

Larry's still great, but his retail location is gone. Sad face! But, If you want to have reproductions made, get in touch with him through his site, he still runs Warp 9 and still does great work and meets clients at his home office.

Larry is awesome! I cannot speak about the competitiveness of his pricing because I did not shop around much but I can say that he is absolutely wonderful to work with and produces excellent final products. Many of my purchasers have also praised the print quality.
He is a super nice guy and has been really flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended! -

I'm an artist, so I often have my work photographed and turned into giclee prints. Larry at Warp 9 has always been tremendously helpful with this process. From taking great high resolution photos to color correcting (the best I've seen in San Diego), to discussing printing options, to actually printing, Warp 9 does a great job at a good price. I'm a very satisfied customer and I would recommend their services to anyone.

I have been taking my original watercolor paintings to Larry Stein of Warp 9 Imaging for photography going on 7 years now. Larry does AWESOME color correction. My giclee prints are spot on reproductions of the originals. He is always friendly, and has helped me out in many a bind when time was sensitive. I would recommend Warp 9 to any artist who wants to keep high-resolution records of their work and for making prints of any kind. Larry does truly great work.

History
Established in 1999
Warp 9 Imaging started as service business specializing in high quality, high resolution drum scanning for photographers. As business increased our clients asked for additional services.
Over time we added Art Photography and then printing.
Currently we use the highest resolution, museum quality system to capture our clients artwork. This is the Betterlight Scanback for our 4x5 view camera. This direct to digital large format system provides a full frame file size of about 300MB. No other system in use today provides the quality and sharpness of this system.
We do all color correction and file preparation in house. We print on many types of media including Canvas, Rag matte paper and photo papers.
Meet the Business Owner: Larry S.
I'm Larry and I own and operate Warp 9 Imaging. I'm a professional photographer, printer and educator. I was an electronic engineer for 25 years so the technology and attention to detail required for this type of work is a natural for me.
I teach photography and Photoshop classes privately as well as through the San Diego Natural History Museum.
I do all the work personally so I care about every piece that goes out. If it doesn't meet my standards, and yours, it doesn't go.
