I got my first big tattoo here last week with Brian. He did such an amazing job and was super supportive throughout the whole process. The tattoo hurt SO much but he talked me through the pain and I think that's the reason I dealt with the agony so well.
Anyway, I totally recommend if you're in the neighborhood and yearning for a tattoo, drop in and see what they have to say.
I'm glad I discovered these guys randomly. I guess my meandering turned into a great tattoo!

this place is brand spanking new, and houses former Braindrops tattoo artists Cecelia and Brian. it's right by Rainbow grocery over by all the car lots. really clean, really sweet atmosphere, with great tunes coming through the speakers.
i got Cecelia's name from a friend who had some work done by her a few years ago. i finally- once 08 hit- realized it was damn time. she's got a long wait for consultations and appts so plan ahead. i booked my appt about 2 months in advance.
Cece is awesome, she is an amazing artist and she was really sweet to me the entire ride. she checked in with me about the pain in a totally sweet, non- 'hey wuss are you hanging in there' kind of way and chatted casually with my boyfriend while i breathed through it. it was a really positive experience.
the tattoo is gorgeous, exactly what i wanted. seemed like she knew more what i was after than i even did! take a peek:

i will definately be back to Cecelia for more!

I had a really great experience here and will be going back-my next appointment is in August, in just a couple weeks, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out.
I was referred by a friend to Brian. I checked out the review here, and decided to call and make an appointment. Brian answered and we spoke briefly-I wanted a small tattoo done for sure, and also wanted to discuss with him a larger tattoo I was interested in covering with an even larger tattoo. He was very courteous and we talked about what I wanted, and made an appointment.
When I showed up, he was there and ready to go. We talked for a bit and he went to work. I was having a small bass cleft put on my left inner ankle to match a treble cleft I had put on my right inner ankle years ago. I had always meant to get the bass cleft done, but years went by and I never did it...when he finished doing the bass cleft, he offered to go over the treble cleft quickly so that the ink would match, since the original one had faded quite a bit. I thought that was very thoughtful, above and beyond my expectations.
Afterwards, we discussed the tattoo I have on my lower right hip (upper right ass cheek?) which I want worked on, and made an appointment for a consultation. The consultation went well and we came up with a design which I was really happy with-he drew it out on my back (its gonna be BIG!) and it looked amazing. He took the time to tweak it a bit so it was exactly how I wanted it-and just a bit was all that was needed, since he really listened to me when I was explaining my idea and it came out just as I imagined.
So, I go in a couple weeks from now and im really excited! I would recommend this shop to everyone. Cecilia was really cool too, and the atmosphere of the shop made me feel really at ease. Brian was super laid back, and kept cracking jokes, which made me feel right at home. Plus, he has a really dry sense of humor, so you never know if he's joking or not. I like that. ;-)
Edit: I had to change my appointment date around, since I spend way too much money on vacations and good times. (What? I want my bank account to be at zero balance when I die-I have no heirs to leave anything to!) So im set to go in this Saturday, early evening. I'll post a post-tattoo review next week! Im nervous and very excited...
