Yup, had 'er again... and it was delish. This time it was just Sarah and I at the crib. We're babysitting you see, so I had to go and pick up the pie. No problem, easy thing to do.
Since she loved the Greek pie last time, she had a hard on for that (like all day) and since I only kinda liked it, I opted to do halvsies on the pizza and get something else: The Works.
I was five minutes too early so I went to the market in the same plaza to grab some beer (Alpine Beer Co. was closed (WTF!)) and when I came back, pie was ready to rock and I was on my way.
Home, I found the pizza to be delicious. Sarah enjoyed her Greek although we didn't get the extra meat we requested, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Works. The Canadian bacon on that is just a perfect addition.
Kinda wishing I got garlic bread with the order, but now that I'm hiking and watching what I eat (yeah right), I opted to go without.
Another great experience with Wanna Pizza, but I do think we're gonna see if the grass is as green or greener elsewhere. Even though we've been advised that it's not, we're new in town and have to try everything. And I mean everything.1 Previous Review: Show all »

WANNA PIZZA IS CLOSED. The location is now owned and operated by Vinny's Pizza ! 619-445-5995 !!! Vinny's is the BEST!!!!!

My father and I stopped in to Wanna Pizza to grab a quick slice... After having one (HUGE) mouthwatering slice of a pepperoni and sausage pizza - we ended up ordering another pizza to take out and share with some friends. I'd never been here before, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they use only premium ingredients and that's why their pizza is SO GOOD! Alpine residents have a great choice for authentic pizza delivery!

I wouldn't consider myself a pizza expert by any means, but I do consider myself a connoisseur :) This is great pizza, I haven't had anything bad yet, my favorite being their version of the everything pizza. They have good sized pizzas for a decent price as well, something that seems to be less and less frequent in pizza places.
