We found this outfit online, and booked a 2 tank day dive for 5 people + 1 snorkeler, and a 2 tank evening + manta night dive (following day).  the first 3 dives were very cool, but the manta dive is a MUST DIVE.  this was by far one of the best dive scenery i've ever seen.

With a boat capacity of 6 divers + divemasters, I found this to be a very well-run operation - very personal, friendly, and professional.

Steve (owner/divemaster) and Cathy (divemaster) were both very informative, and great underwater guides.  their briefings of the spot were right on, and they were very informative of what we would see below, and explained in great detail what we could expect to see and when, and how they would let us know when (and what) we'd be seeing.

Overall it was a great personalized diving experience.  After going with small dive outfits such as this, I am convinced on doing the small-outfit route instead of the big-boat charters from now on.

We love diving with Steve and his Wanna Dive crew. We always use them when we're on the Big Island. Steve used to run a tropical fish store in Oregon years ago and really knows his fish. He's very knowledgeable and fun to dive with. And we love diving on a smaller boat where there are fewer divers in the water (max 6 passengers). We've taken our Advanced Open Water training and Nitrox training from Steve on two different trips to Hawaii. He was great. We'll be back and highly recommend him and Wanna Dive.
