Certainly not on the same scale or eclectic scope of the Henry Ford, but a nice collection nonetheless and definitely worth looking for and visiting if you're in the area, and especially if you're a MOPAR fan.

If you're wondering why in the world I would go to a museum dedicated to Chrysler cars, it's because my baby's daddy had a business event here with a Motown theme. I was nine months pregnant, squeezed into a pair of black flats and a black tube dress, and I waddled right into a glass building filled with enough fancy cars to cast the next Fast and the Furious movie.
If you get an event catered here, the hors d'oeuvres are pretty decent. I remember stuffing my face with hummous and vegetables, then going into the basement where the coffee and dessert were. The desserts were served in little shot glass samples, and I'm pretty sure I threw back about 10 shots of those. Since I had a bun in the oven, I didn't drink, but the open bar seemed to be really nice for everyone else.
There really isn't much to say about this museum except that there are cars floating in mid air (it seriously looks that way), there are cars in the basement, and there are cars on all the floors. The cars are all shiny and fancy, as well. The space is very open and when you look up or down from any of the floors, you can get a good glimpse of what's going on in the other levels.
My favorite part about this museum is the elevator. It is a huge industrial elevator suited for transporting automobiles. The design was very interesting and made me think of film noir and espionage. -

Detroit is rich with automotive heritage, and this is a cool spot to visit, especially if you are a MoPar fan. Old race cars, antiques, and engineering curiosities. And even a history lesson or two!
