Recently took the Soho/Chinatown/Little Italy tour with a few friends. Bruce was a great tour guide and had picked 6 excellent locations for us to stop at along our journey.

I think 2 hours was just right for the tour and we really would not be able to eat anymore food by the end of it - come hungry.

For $35 I thought this tour was well worth it, really a neat way to get familiar with the history and transformation of a few Manhattan neighborhoods.

Bruce has a number of different tours on his website, I recommend checking them out.

I do the free Sunday dessert tours once a month. I love getting to know all the best bakeries in a given area. If you find yourself with some free time I would definitely recommend it. Bruce, the tour guide, always knows what each bakery is known for.

Specialties

Everything you'll want to see; major landmarks, hot restaurants, famous shopping venues, and the most delicious desserts from top-rated local bakeries

Let our tours take you out of Midtown and Times Square, and show you the neighborhoods were real New Yorkers live and hang-out. Each week we have scheduled tours to Tribeca, Financial District/Ground Zero, SoHo/Little Italy/Chinatown, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side and Harlem.

Tours are 2 hours and we leisurely walk 1 1/4 miles with frequent rest stops. Tours are $20 per person. Purchase of desserts are additional.

Once a month we have the Free NYC Dessert Fest, which is a free walking tour which benefits the non-profit Food Bank For NYC, which helps to feed the hungry.

We ask for a $5 donation per person, and purchase of desserts are additional. Please check our home page for the next event.

History

Established in 2005

Started showing friends, family and business acquaintances around the city. Most visitors had a long list of sites to see, and precious little time to squeeze them all in.

I helped organize their places of interest into neighborhoods, allowing them to see nearby icons along with great restaurants and shopping venues all in one area.

I am a native New Yorker, and I love walking. Walking gives me the opportunity to keep in shape, and get to see all the great neighborhoods on a block by block basis.

I was personal fitness trainer before becoming a tour guide. But when given the choice of working outdoors and getting a little sunshine on my face, I chose the latter.
