We were heading up to Davis for 4th of July weekend!!!!!

Walmart of course is the best!! esp the super center open 24hours!!

we got here at 12:30AM and got 3days worth of food, some dvds, liquor, swimming floatations, $1 flip flops and things we forgot at home: socks, toothbrushes etc etc. Filled my whole trunk up for only $100 :D

Where else can you find rotisserie chicken , lawn chairs , Wii and lots of weird people all in cased in one store? Well baby here they all are just waiting for you. After hours wandering around looking for my frickin family , I think  the wanderlust has finally faded. I thought everything would be dirt cheap here but  I think I will go back to my first love - Target.

This is a review for their Tire and Lube staff.

My friends and I were on our way back home from South Lake Tahoe. A LOONG drive to say the least since there was bad weather all weekend. The chains! The snow! The ice! The rain!

The piece of plastic under my bumper (my friends call this the "feeler") got loose and was dragging along the freeway for a good part of I-80 before we realized that something was terribly wrong. All thanks to a friendly driver in the number 3 lane.

The short version: we I-80 into Dixon and found the am/pm. The kindly am/pm man recommended the friendly folks at WalMart for assistance.

We drove into the tire center garage and one guy of 15 working there came out and got down on this hands and knees to check out my car. He told us that he wasn't allowed to work on it but that we could fix the problem with zip ties! YAY! WalMart sells ZIP TIES!

Off we went around the corner and purchased a pack of 97 cent zip ties, patched up the car, and headed on back to SF via Teacakes in Emeryville.

Thank you Dixon WalMart tire center! You saved our mini holiday!

WOW!~!! A 24-hour Super Walmart!!!! I felt like a third grader going on a field trip to an awesome place. Haha.

I really like this Super Walmart. You can easily walk in circles to locate whatever you need to buy. The store is that big!

If you get tired, you can make a trip to the grocery and snack section of the Walmart. Bananas are really cheap. The quality of the vegetables and fruits are so-so, but cheaper prices than Safeway or Nugget. You can also buy meats, frozen items, and whatever items in the deli. Baking items are a very good price. I buy my brown sugar and powdered sugar here.

Normally I don't like to travel at night, but at 10pm I felt pretty safe in the area. The Walmart parking lot has a lot of street lamps.

Not a big fan of Walmarts, however, they do an excellent job in their automotive section. Tires are cheap and the oil changes can sometimes take a LONG time. They should add something to entertain their customers in the waiting room.

BOY, was i excited to shop at 24 HOUR WALMART SUPER SUPERCENTER late at night before heading to Davis!

the place itself is soo BIG, i think i lost 5 lbs just walking around the whole place. every aisle is fun to walk through -- its like a being a little kid in a candy store.

me: wah, they sell groceries too?! ALCOHOL too?!
*continue to push my little cart*
me: wat? they sell tires too?!
*continue to push my little cart*
me: wat? they sell bbq supplies & garden stuff?!

walgreens & safeways back in SF are ripping me off! 93 cents for gummi peaches? $2.00 chips?! 84 cents for gum?!

if you need anything -- GO TO WALMART
if you have the late night munchies -- GO TO WALMART
ITS OPEN 24 HOURS!

If you are looking to stop on your way from the Bay Area to Davis, Sacramento, Roseville, Tahoe, etc... this is the place! I always stop here to get gas across the way, pee break & for the great deals.

You can't go up to Tahoe without getting the Hostess chocolate donuts. They always have great deals, bathing suits for the hot tub if you forgot it at home, & anything else you might need. Also, before you leave don't forget to get some Sam's Water that's sold super cheap in the vending machine. It's just as good as any other water... so what if Wal Mart is starting to monopolize, I love their deals.

Yes, it's true.  Walmart has the worse labor practices and their factories in China pay workers 13 cents an hour.  They're terrible.

BUT their products are cheaper than your average store which is what attracts poor college students like myself (before, I mean).  The fruit and veggies were cheap, their Kashi cereal (the FAMILY SIZE box) is always sold at the constant price of $2.50, I buy the $1 bag of salt-free sunflower seeds for my pet rat.

The best part (and main reason why this superctr gets 3 stars) is their rotissiere lemon chicken.  I was shopping there around 4ish and felt lazy so I stopped by the deli section.  I spotted the chicken and the label indicated it was fresh outta the oven.  Brought that baby home and tore it all up with my bf.  It was delish!!  Even better than the Costco chicken.  That was $3.98 well spent!

Let's list out everything good about Wal-Mart

1. Everything is cheap.

Now, the cons:

1. Everything is cheap: cheap quality, cheap labor, cheap treatment.
2. Their labor practices virtually force anyone in their employment into poverty.
3. They put local community businesses out-of-business.
4. Their business practices are described, at best, as being "sleazy"
5. 95% of their merchandise comes from overseas.
6. They are nortorious for supporting slave-labor.

Before you walk through the doors to make your cheap purchases, check out the movie 'WAL-MART: The High Cost of Low Price.' And if you willingly shop there after viewing this DvD, you either have no soul, or it's owned by Satan.

Went here on a friday night around midnight for some weird reason to shop for groceries.  anyways, i think this wal-mart is big for college students at uc davis as i saw a couple there around that time.  special note:  there is a regular wal-mart like 15 minutes from here in vacaville.  they're popping up everywhere unfortunately.

You can find food, produce, meat, clothes, pretty much anything here.  a deli and electronics also.  anyways, just ur typical super wal-mart.  the stupid thing here is there only seems to be one entrance/exit point in the whole HUGE parking lot.  yes, it sucks when i had to turn my car around after i found this out the hard way.

Note:  there's a gamestop nearby this location.
