I like Wal-Mart because I can browse all the cheap stuffs. Where else can you get a tiki doll like the one on the Brady Bunch for cheap? This one can get pretty brutal though because there are sometimes plenty of people shopping. It's an inexpensive place to get that stuff you left at home, but you were supposed to bring it on the trip. Also, all the cheap junks and candies you can take home to relatives to gloat that, "I was in Hawaii and you couldn't go!" It's close enough to Ala Moana Mall that tourists can just walk. Make sure to look both ways before crossing the street though. There's plenty of traffic in that area from Ala Moana to Wal-Mart.

As in my Sam's Club review, my only warning is DO NOT park on the first floor (Wal-Mart level). One time I went in to look for a parking space and it took me 35 minutes just to get the heck out of there and go upstairs (which I promptly found a parking spot in less than a minute). It is always congested. Park on at least the second floor when going to either Sam's or Wal-Mart and save your blood-pressure.

1-2-3-4 we don't want your superstore! 5-6-7-8 we just want your super cheap stuff all low low low prices because we live in Hawaii and are forced to live with our parents in order to make ends meet! Oh wait. I don't think that's how the protest cheer goes but the supposed #1 Walmart in the country deserves a decent cheer don't you think?

I head down to the overly crowded Keeaumoku Walmart all the time because I live in town and it's the closest place to score really really cheap household goods at 2 in the morning. 1st floor parking is a nightmare so be sure to park on the 2nd floor. Don't expect great service or any of the fluff because let's face it, it's Walmart!

One day my kiddies were begging me to take them to the Circus but as there was no Circus in town at the time (or really anytime if you think about it), so I took them to WALMART! Woo hoo! We rode in the shopping cart, rolled hula hoops and bouncy balls down the toy aisles, test drove bicycles, ate cookies and bought 3 kinds of ice cream, bubble bath and a shower plug. Who needs the Circus! We've got Walmart and they've got animal crackers! ROAR!!!

The dearth of Wal-Marts and Targets in a convenient location has been the hardest thing to get used to here. We actually never go to Target because it took us an hour last time.

Because we're a single income family, on a tight budget, and non-military, we simply cannot afford to go to Long's or Safeway to buy everything we need.

The other day, my son needed a pair of khaki pants.  I went to Ross- no pants at all in his size.  Then I went to Macy's Kahala, the only other store within a 10 mile radius carrying kid's clothes. The only pants they had were Ralph Lauren for $40.

Hmm, should I buy the pants, or should we eat this week? I wondered.  So off we went to Wal-Mart, where we got a very similar pair for only $9.

That is Wal-Mart working for you.

It's also where we buy our craft stuff, over the counter pills, Hawaiian chocolate, electronics, and toys.  We also got almost a hundred percent of our school supplies here.

Waht I don't like: This Wal-Mart is downtown and the parking garage is a heat trap full of people who refuse to park in a quick fashion.  They enjoy idling in the lot sharking spots, even if the other side has a hundred empty spots. It's also always always crowded with locals and tourists, and if you have little kids you're in fear of them being carelessly run over.

I'm not sure what happens to normally good drivers when they visit the Wal*Mart in Honolulu. For some strange reason, they leave their parking skills behind when they enter the parking lot. Perhaps drivers are conditioned to park at a specific angle and have trouble parking in stalls at Wal*Mart's non-standard angle. Perhaps the thought of saving all that money causes them to lose all parking sense. Whatever the cause, it is truly amazing to see an entire row of cars with only a few cars parked completely within the lines.

Wal*Mart haters (you know who you are) would argue that shoppers also leave their conscience behind when they shop at Wal*Mart. I would argue that with all the money you save, you can buy yourself a new conscience. I think you'll find them in the aisle next to the self-help books "How to look at yourself in the mirror" and "How to sleep at night".

When in Honolulu, if you want to buy cheap asian packaged snack foods to bring home, you must come here...

We bought packages and packages and packages of cuttle fish, beef jerky, fish jerky, wasabi peas, wasabi peanuts, nori ten (deep fried seaweed), dried mango, dried pineapples, dried peaches, dried plums, mini sesame crepes (think pancakes with red bean paste), macadamia nuts and of course Hawaiian Host chocolates.

All items were 1.87 to 4.99......

What a deal!

Pharmacy experience was a nightmare. Person behind the counter was not only ignorant but lazy. Bottom line. She didn't care. I landed up walking out. I came in with a coupon for a free blood sugar meter AND a prescription from my doctor. How hard can that be? Rocket Science obviously.
I will pass.

Growing up in Hawaii, we had only 1 Wal-Mart, the one in Kunia.  I come back now after a good number of years and they are quite a few now...bigger than ever.

I have always found Wal-Mart in Hawaii to be better than K-mart (aside from the fact they are missing out on the Little Caesar's crazy bread offering)...a good spot for cheap and inexpensive paper products, local snacks, and other random household things.

This Wal-Mart still held true to that notion, but it was big.  Like Sam's Club big.  And I know they are sister company's....but for a Wal-Mart...I was just completely overwhelmed.  By the size and by the number of people there.

I mean, I know that living in New York now space is at a premium, so we won't see a Wal-mart the size of Costco.  And I should be used to crowds right?  Just not at Wal-mart.  I wanted to leave like 7 minutes into there because I had no idea where to find anything.  Sigh.

This is one place that a list and sheer determination to go in and out will definitely benefit you.  Please leave all husbands and boyfriends at home.  They'll probably thank you.

First star is for being a 24-hour Wal-Mart so that we were able to go there at 11 pm at night. It's about a 40-minute walk from Waikiki and I would not recommend that you do it alone or with kids as there are some seedy people walking around once you get out of Waikiki.

The Wal-Mart itself is stocked with your usual Wal-Mart merchandise and groceries, but with a Hawaiian flair so it's very different from the ones on the mainland.  There is a huge section for souvenirs right when you walk in the store. It's filled with local crafts, stickers, magnets, mugs, nameplates, shotglasses, t-shirts, Hawaiian shirts...anything you've seen at an ABC store or at the swap meet.

They also have one long aisle, plus several pallets of Hawaiian chocolates, macadamia nuts, and other snacks. It's a huge assortment and you can easily spend an hour in this section.  The shift manager for the area saw we were overwhelmed by the aisle and gave us some pointers about the various goodies.

The only disappointment with this store that they were out of Spam!  The Spam shelf was empty! It was midnight so they were doing a lot of restocking the shelves, but I was told that more Spam wasn't coming out anytime soon.

How can Wal-Mart be out of Hawaii's #1 food staple?  I found my answer a few minutes later when I saw a couple pushing their cart with at least 3 cases of Spam! Spam hoarders!

I mean how can Walmart ever be 5 stars?  I should really consider it since I've been to Walmarts in 4 states now.  Hawaii, CA, Missouri and Kansas.

This one was clean and cool.  They had awesome souvenirs for cheap and I was here like 5 days out of my 10 day stay.  I think for a moment i thought of applying for a job since i was there so much.

Positive: MAUI BABE LOTION. Love this stuff.  Im mucho brown because of it.  Island Brown to be exact. =)

Negative...it wasn't so much walmart as it was the stupid snorkle googles that kept leaking so I had to exchange.

During my last trip to Hawaii, I came to this store to pick-up some items to bring back - candy, nuts, magnets, etc.  The prices for these items are great at this store.  Selection is great here compared to other stores in Honolulu.  Shopping at this store was a test of my patience - it is super busy, and the customer service needs improvement.

The location is near Ala Moana.  A lot of bus lines go there, even one from Waikiki.  Parking in the parking structure will take a lot of patience and effort; luckily, I took the bus.

Overall, a great place for my souvenirs and everyday needed items - shampoo, aspirin, etc.  But be prepared for a lot of tolerance and patience.

Wal-Mart saved our butts several times while we were preparing for my friend's wedding...the bridal party came here to get some last minute items for an emergency kit...and the groomsmen had to stop by for some last minute khaki pants and shoe purchases!

It's a huge store of course -- and the best way to find anything is to ask a store associate, otherwise you just end up getting sucked into the endless aisles of stuff.  The staff is friendly and helpful.

We should have come here FIRST...the amount of cheap souvenirs you can get here is CRAZY (still doesn't beat swap meet though). It took every bit of self control to not get everything. The fabric selection is a-ok. I got some cute shirts here for the kiddies. There is cool housewares here if you're into hawaiian themed things. I would have bought some, but my luggage I knew was going to be very full.

right by our hotel.. near chinatown, near one of the big malls.
our hotel room had a kitchenette so we stocked up on instant oatmeal, ice cream, beer, dickies shorts, beach blanket, black belt, other snacks, & water.
this isnt a grocery walmart, so no fresh produce.
pb & j's, yes... blt's? no.
parking lot is big, annoying, & its HOT! it shares it w/ the adjacent costco or sams club..

This is a nice Walmart compared to the one I've been to in Windsor, Ca.  It can be a bit crowded, but the shelves are stocked and the parking is super easy.  We happened to go at a busy time so the lines were a bit long, but overall a nice experience with great prices.

I really cant stand wal-mart. They are bad for Hawaii and bad for America. I would rather spend a couple dollars more and buy locally. If not local, at least at a store that doesn't treat their employees, the environment, and their communities so horribly.

If you ever have the time you should watch, and encourage all your friends to watch the documentaries "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" and the front line investigation "Is Wal-Mart good for America".

Support Hawaii, buy local!!

i've honestly never had a problem with walmart on the mainland (you know what you're walking into, right?) but this walmart gives me a serious headache and kind of makes me hate the world.  they have a terrible selection of basic stuff, prices really don't seem to be much cheaper than elsewhere on the island, and i bought a bike here that i had to return after riding a block and a half because the pedal fell off.  the second star is just because they were good about taking the bike back.

This is where I go to buy stuff like shampoo, toothpaste, and other personal items unless they have something on sale at Longs, etc. I especially hate coming here on the weekends. The place is a zoo...people everywhere and going in every which direction. It's hard enough just to walk through this place carrying a shopping basket. Pushing a cart through the store...fuhgeddaboudit! I feel like I'm in a live version of a video game or something...dodging carts and weaving in and out of the aisles. OMG and the people who block the whole aisle while there's fifty million people trying to get through...UGH! But I still have to come here cuz I can't afford to shop at Food Pantry all the time.

Unfortunately I had to shop here this past weekend for a few necessities like toilet paper and refill food saver bags.  My husband and I hate this store so we try to build up a list of supplies that we need before heading there.  If we had the extra space we would prefer to buy our toilet paper and such from Sam's Club or Costco instead.

I like to park on the top level and work my way down to Sam's Club or Walmart.  It's easier to shoot up to the top level and find a parking than to stop and go on one of the bottom levels.  The wait can get pretty frustrating trying to get through those lower levels to a parking stall.

The store has a pretty grungy feel to it as well as a stench (mainly at the entrances).  It's always crowded and majority of the workers that we've come across were just outright rude.  Definitely not a place I enjoy going, but unfortunately the prices keep people returning.  (Especially with the state our economy is currently in.)

I don't give a crap about the politics behind Wal-mart and my rating will not be affected by it. It's the employee's decision to work there, and if they don't like it they can quit and find a new job. All I can say is that I shop at Wal-Mart and saved a lot of money at it. It's not the place do to your daily grocery shopping, but if you need tools, office supplies, cheap generic batteries, generic medicine, Wal-Mart's got it. If you wanna penny-pinch even more money and know you will shop at Wal-Mart often, go get a gift card on eBay for cheaper than face value.

I don't know what the complaint was about finding parking at Keeaumoku Wal-Mart. The place has a 4-level parking structure. Those who have a hard time finding parking are the idiots who park on the same level that Wal-Mart and Sam's Club are on because they're too lazy to get their butt off to walk a set of stairs (or even take the elevator/escalator). I always park on the second level and never ever had a problem finding parking.

Wife:  We need milk.

Me:     I'll go to Times, since it's so close.

Wife:  It's $5.99 a gallon there, it's four-something at Walmart.

Me:    $5.99?!  You gotta be kidding!

Wife:  That's their sale price.

Me:     That's more expensive than gas for the car!

Wife:   Well, we're in Hawaii.

Me:    Arrrggh!  (not allowed to use expletives because of the kids and the G-rated household I live in).

So, I go to Walmart because I'm feeling chivalrous for a change.  Big mistake.  It's late at night, and I foolishly think I'll be one of very few people here.  Wrong!  The parking lot is crowded, with airheads blocking the way while another family slowly gets in their car, so they don't have to walk an extra 5 yards to an empty parking spot.

THEN I get in the store and I feel like I've entered another world, populated by NEANDERTHALS!

Here's 3 teenage boys, wearing stockings on their heads, baggy pants, with their cool boxer shorts protruding out the top, gold bling around their necks, walking aimlessly through the aisles, as if they're cruising the boulevard in a low-rider, but they're walking through a frigging Walmart!  They're teasing some girls in front of them who keep telling them to "F*** off!"  Cool!  What's up with that?  But then, I see their parents, who are also wandering aimlessly, one of them sporting a tattoo on his shoulder, with a big knife with blood dripping from it.  That's one thing nice about Walmart: it always feels so safe and, well, wholesome!

Oops!  Here are three nice middle aged ladies having a conversation about someone's upcoming trip to Las Vegas.  They are all standing in the middle of the aisle with 3 shopping carts, blocking ingress and egress to/from the milk aisle.

"Excuse me."  I nicely intone.  No response, as they are talking about the merits of the California Hotel as opposed to the Fremont Hotel in downtown Vegas (both very lovely establishments, I'm sure).  "Excuse me!" I assertively, forcefully exclaim.

They move aside, but in a slow, passive-aggressive manner.

I finally get the milk, which is just under $5, and I wonder, is this really worth it, to pay about a dollar less and have to run the gauntlet of people with no social intelligence?   One of my friends would be proud of me, since my drivel smacks of elitism, and he is a proud professorial elitist.  But it just makes me sad that I should have to shop at a store like this just to get "cheap" milk.  Sadder still that I am patronizing a store known for exploitative employment practices.  What a hypocrite!  And all for a gallon of milk.

walmart made me to never wanna shop on black friday.  unfortunately, walmart was the only store that carries nintendo ds lites on special for black friday so i went to get ONLY that for myself.  got there at 3 am to stand in line since the sale started at 5 am.  i didn't get out of line until 8 fricken o' clock.  five hour wait just for one item!!!  it was a bad system how they bunched all the electronics into the four registers in that department and the employees had to cash out each customer that wanted to buy a wii or ds, which definitely took way too long.  also, i had no cellphone or ipod on hand so i was pretty miserable.  walmart, please fix your system for next year and i may be back.

other than that, ill be there for my basic necessities :)

I'm actually slapping myself even as I write this. I swear I tried hard NOT to enter this store because I had made it a point NOT to shop at Walmart for years now and have actually been successful. However, that was because there were also Targets nearby. Here in Hawaii, there are NO Targets and the only other equivalent is K-Mart (also some place I don't make a point of shopping at).

So as I say this with much shame, I shopped at Walmart!! I bought some stuff I ordinarily would've bought at Target stores and I'm not proud ot it. I really hate to contribute to Walmart's financial gain because of the way it operates its business and I am going to try my damndest NOT to shop there again this year. I've even resorted to sourcing out stuff via the internet and do as much online shopping as possible so NOT to step into Walmart again --- *sigh* god help me!

I feel like I'm the only one that likes going to this Walmart. I have been to this place both times I've visited Honolulu. I always go to the souvieners section and spend about an hour there. I know I don't even need those things but they are just fun to look at.

I never realized it was open 24/7. This Walmart is like being at a cheap mall. Its huge and has everything for a cheaper price, but then again its just like any Walmart. Maybe its just that its a Walmart in Hawaii and the plastic bags they put your stuff in says "Hawaii" on the bottom.

Its just a nice atmosphere after a long day of being at the beach or sight seeing. Because I'm not really a Walmart person (Target is cleaner and friendlier) I usually would hate to say I love going to Walmart but this Walmart I will always visit when I'm in Honolulu.

See you guys here next Summer. =P.

What 4 stars for a Walmart???  Even though we all know Walmart is "Evil", this one is NOT like the ghettolicious Walmarts on the mainland.  If you are vacationing in Hawaii, go to the Walmarts to buy your souvenirs!  Spend money on yourself somewhere else and buy your friends the cheap chocolate mac nuts, cheesy hawaiian shirts, and calendars here!  Check this place out.  They're cheaper than ABC stores and Hilo Hattie!  It's clean, you don't see kids laying in the toy aisles, the lines go fast, and parking isn't a bitch in the garage.

Walmart sucks.  Unfortunately there's nowhere else to get a lot of the crap they sell and when you're refitting a household, the difference in price between here and mall department stores can really add up.  To date, I've returned things to this Walmart 5 times for being defective products (e.g. stainless steel knives that rusted immediately).

But this review will specialize on bicycles.  OK buying a new bike in Oahu when you don't want to drop $400+ on some mountain bike is a real PITA.  It seems the various local bike shops don't want to compete with the department stores high end range (i.e. $200ish), so you're stuck with crappy department store bike choices.  Despite inferior components there ARE some decent models if you do your research online first.  Having found the bike model I want at Walmart (the Next Avalon 7spd), I try to get some service.  There seems to be one guy there that knows anything about bikes.  Everybody else is a moron.  I pulled down the 'assembled' model and everything about it was a mess: the front tire didn't line up with the handlebars, the deraileurs were messed up, and the brakes.  The wheels weren't true.  I point all this out to the employee thinking I'd get some sort of work done on the bike before buying it, but instead I get the most pathetic excuse for a hard sell ever.  Finally I just accepted facts: bikes are cheap at walmart because you have to pay to have them assembled by someone that knows what they are doing.  I literally bought this new bike broken at walmart, took it straight to the bike shop, and for $40 they set it up right.  What a difference.  Gone was that loud metal clank in the crankcase with every revolution.  No longer did the brakes rub against the wheel all the time, and no more random gear changes in the middle of cycling.

That was my wife's bike.  I bought the male model and after finding out the Bike Shop charges roughly the same for assembly as they do for adjustment I think, "Great, I'll buy the bike from walmart still in the box."  An even BIGGER nightmare.  I tell the guy I want an unassembled bike and he takes my name and number and says they'll call me.  A week goes by and nothing.  So I go back and talk to a different person at sporting goods/toys.  This time my name goes in a notebook which seems somehow infinitely more official than scrap paper.  Sure enough, two days later, I am invited to come pick up my bike.  Hooray.  I'm fairly stoked at this point thinking ok I buy the bike here for $130, pay $40 for assembly and for $170 I've got a decent bike that online reviews have been favorable towards (provided walmart does not put it together -- that's key).  So I go to check out and they have to do the state license which isn't printed on the box.  So now they want to open the box to get the license number and make it that much harder for me to get it to my car and to the Bike Shop.  I'm not happy and ask if I can just apply for the license at the Bike Shop, but NO, it's state law.  Fine.  So they pull me to customer service.  Now here's something I don't get.  For the most part all the cashiers working there are really nice.  I have no gripes with them.  But the people running customer service man...they got some seriously bad attitudes.  So they cut open my box on the top and of course we can't see the serial from the top so then they cut it open from the bottom.   I read the thing myself but can't quite make out the last number, so this customer service lady comes along, stands the box on the end that says "this end up" to my complaints, pulls the frame out to read it, corrects me on the last digit, but then reports the number with one less digit than I said.  So we correct that and finally have a properly filled out form.  They tape up the box which used to be held together with industrial staples and two thick plastic cords and one of em says they'll go get me a flatbed to take it to my car.  10 minutes later we realize we've been abandoned and carry it out ourselves holding it by the bottom the entire time.

Disorganized, discourteous, and dumb.  The 3 D's of Walmart...

They get 2 stars, one for sucking unbelievably (because you can't get zero) and 1 for being cheaper than everywhere else.

Minus 2 stars cuz they suck you in and spit you out with your $178 bill and basket o' crap that you didn't even need.

Yup, just got back from the walmart and I don't even know what the heck hit me.  We went with a list of stuff and came out with even more than the list.  This happens every time I go in there.  What is it?  Do they pipe in hallucinogens to make you think that all this crap is stuff that will look good in your house?  I mean, do I really need that hand soap even tho' I have 3 at  home already?  Well, apparently I do, cuz I bought it.  Why must I stand in the kitchen rug area for 15 minutes?  I'll tell you why, it's the hallucinogens telling me that I MUST purchase something from the kitchen rug aisle or I can't leave.  So, I'm stuck there for 15 minutes trying to talk myself into what I NEED in whatever color I MUST get and WHY I need it.  I just get so dang delirious in there!

Another thing about this place is that because it's open all day every day, it is a tweeker heaven.  Who the hell shops at 10 o'clock at night?  I'll tell you who.. TWEEKERS.  That's right, you'll find 'em in swarms everywhere in every aisle doing the same thing I was doing, staring dazed and confused at crap they don't need.  The only thing is that the tweekers really DO think they need it and will prlly actually use that plastic plant, elastic from the sewing area and a tamagotchi. For what?   I dunno, they're tweekers.  I am not.... but we shop there together in this crazy hell hole called The Walmart.

It doesn't matter what time of day you go to this Walmart.  It is always damn crowded.  I think it's a Grand Central for those who receive some kind of welfare assistance, it is like one of their gathering places where they just wonder aimlessly and block the aisles so you can't get through quickly.  Despite Walmart's horrible record of their treatment of employees, I will continue to patronize this establishment once every other month for my vagina wipes.

This place "rocks" for ordinary folks living in Honolulu proper. From the moment you enter the property it easy to navigate and locate parking. This is so as there are entrances/egresses on all four sides of this one block facility. I often access the upper levels of the four level parking structure directly from the Makaloa Street entrance. By parking in the SE corner of the 3rd or 4th floors you are only steps away from an array elevators with ample space to accommodate three shopping carts with ease. adjacent to the elevators are escalators that are enhanced with the ability to move shopping carts up from the ground floor at the street level to your choice of level. The Sam's Club entrance is accessible from the 3rd floor.

I noticed that the the majority of the shopping carts for both Sam's Club and Walmart are both fairly new and in good condition.

This Walmart is also serviced by two bus lines and has it's own sheltered bus stop (Keeaumoku Street side) also just steps from one of its' two entrances. Bus line No.5 out of the west side of Manoa Valley stops at Walmart on average every 50 min as it makes its circuit from Manoa to Ala Moana Center and back. Bus line No. 6 originating from west Manoa Valley Woodlawn Ave and the University Area *Attention UH students* also stops at the Keeaumoku Street stop almost three times an hour during peak hours.

In addition there's a cab stand next to the entrance nearest to Sheridan Street, were there never seems to be a shortage of cabs in waiting during day and evening hours. There is a direct line free of charge to the TheCab on the exterior wall of the facility adjacent to the cab stand.

I've counted three ATM's in and around this Walmart all operated by American Savings Bank (of which there is a full service branch in side). One is along the exterior wall west of the entrance closest to Keeaumoku Street. Another is alongside the Customer Service counter at the very front of the store opposite of the checkout/cashiers. The other is situated in the ASB branch also at the front of the store opposite the checkout.

I found that the interior of this store to be well lit with aisles that are wide and easy to manuver through. The restrooms appeared to be in working order and without an unsightly accumulation of water/fluid on the floor or trash containers filled beyond capacity.Checking out seems to be easy enough with 26 check out stands (never all in operation simultaneously). The tip here is to utilize the checkstands at the east end of the line during peak business hours. There is also a pharmacy and a film processing center(both accessible online) available. Additionally (and not so much to my surprise) there is even a souvenir shop that sells most of the wares that can be found in this area that is nearby Waikiki. Everything from beach towels to tikis, postcards to hula skirts, or sea shells to shot glasses can be found here at a prices comparable to sometimes even better than the Flea Market @ Aloha Stadium or anywhere else.

Customer service here is definitely a "roll of the dice". I've experienced over the years a full spectrum of customer service quality. From zombie like greeters at the front door with "lack luster" enthusiasm to ones that are as proficient as a concierge at a five star hotel. When asked about certain items some worker will point towards a particular department and/or merely say it over in that department. Other workers will go the full course and literally take ahold of the shopping cart and lead you over to the item, all the time explaining options of quality and price and leave you with the phrase "is there anything else I can do for you today" or "Thank You for shopping at Walmart". So I guess the tip here is not to ask where something is but rather "could you show me (take me to) where something is". This seems to work every time, but if all else fails ask to seem a manager.

You know when this Walmart came to town years ago, there was no shortage of prophets of doom, NIMBYs or other forms of opposition. But all in all it seems the community in large has accepted and and embraced it presence. I've heard rumors about how Walmart mistreats its' workers but haven't noticed an unusually high turnover of employees at this facility or stories in the local press which in my opinion would substantiate these rumors. My inquiries has often lead me to a common source. It seems that the bulk of this rhetoric comes from the trade unions that have for years have been trying to get Walmart workers to organize. With more than 6000 retail outlet nation wide that represents a win fall fortune in union due and political clout to organizations whose membership has been on the decline for decades now.

After all isn't it the Ford Motor Company that employs a multitude of the UAW that is down on its' knees presently begging the federal government for a bail out, while WMT showed a 2.4% increase in Oct 08. Coincidence?

Open 24/7, I shopped till I dropped. Seriously, can you believe I was here for 7 hours? Till the wee hours of the 0230 morning. This place wins the record for my all time shopping marathon.

The dressing room staff were ultra nice.  Found some great items. Among them, during my last hour, a beautiful matching lingerie set. So what if it falls apart? Good grief, it was less than $20.00!

Uh, though @ some point I have to pack it all up, You see, I'm just here on vacation folks! I visit 1-2x year (relatives). Hopefully I can find a box. Or I might have to buy a suitcase for all this, on second thought, no more shopping..this trip anyway. I've reached my limit, wouldn't you say?

ahh Walmart, I fly over the ocean, to go to WALMART??? But au contriar, this walmart is the best spot to get your gift shopping done at and to purchase boxes of those yummy macademia nuts that everyone loves to get fat off of.

Last time I was in Hawaii, one of the hottie locals I met took me here to get my shop on, at like 3 in the morning.  Haha I know hella random, but I gotta love the island hospitalitiy!

Also you get an extra star for having a L&L in there instead of a McDonald's!

It's just a Walmart.  It's not a Super-Walmart.  Limited groceries.  Parking is available, but you have to have patience.  Good for the cheap souveneirs.  ABC stores are more fun, though.  But 24-hour shopping at Walmart has its advantages, too.  Try the Starbucks next door.  Good service.
