Capt. Ron Miltzow took me and two friends out on the water for six hours and brought us home with eight beautiful fish, half of which were king salmon.
The captain knows Lake Michigan like the back of his hand and keeps contact with other boats to find out where the fishing is hot. A trip on the water is just as much lesson as it is sport.
I'd never been sport fishing before, and the captain taught me how to set lures, reel fish, spot bites, operate the radio, use the radar, store fish, clean fish and pretty much anything else I needed.
He's also a super friendly guy but not overbearing. He gives you space but is very patient with novices.
If you're planning a fishing trip and don't want to come home empty handed, go with Wake'N'Sea.
