Ok 5 stars because really this is the best place in Boise to go and just be a kid again - or take your kids, but they can work on a few things here and there, who can't?
This evening was Tuesday - which means $12 for unlimited mini-golf and Laser tag plus $2.50 in tokens!! We ended up with a group of over 10 so actually purchased a package which was $11.50 for 3-hours of unlimited mini-golf, laser tag and bumper boats (which literally just opened!)
It was one of my good friends birthdays and we threw a "Suit Up" party as Barney would say and our general goal was to play a lot of Laser tag (accomplished).
They didn't have a lot of staff and it took a good 20 minutes to get 14 of us fully paid and ready to go have fun. It also took them a while to set-up the bumper boats since no one had been using them for a while - but they did come out right as they noticed we were interested in the attraction.
Also, they now have Pinz Bowling attached to the facility which I didn't get to do tonight but I have in the past and they are amazing! If you go on a busy night there is often quite the wait, but you get some tokens to pass the time which is nice. The bowling alley has screens above the bowling lanes playing music videos and great music, but it can be a bit loud. Also it's fairly dark with colored lights all over which is unique. And they have a bar attached to the bowling alley which I believe serves food too! I wouldn't know though, because they have employees come around every 15/20 minutes to check up on you and see if you need anything and brought us fries and water! It's great! A bit pricey - but so worth the mini splurge for a great time!

I think that this is technically the same location as Boondocks, but the new name is Wahooz.  Yelp Admins, it may be prudent to merge the two?

    Location: 3 out of 5
From Boise, it's about a 15 minute drive, and very close to the highway.  I was staying at the Best Western Rama Inn just down the street, so it was a very quick drive.

Selection of Games and Activities: 5 out of 5
I won't lie - it's pretty comprehensive.  From your sporting games like basketball, skeeball, and air hockey, to the great selection of somewhat modern arcade games, to the "prize" games like stacker and "cut the rope", there should be something here for everyone.  My buddy and I spent 1 dollar each and went through Time Crisis 3 from start to end.  It took 45 minutes and it was a little draining on the ol' noggin.  We played lots of games of basketball, and the air hockey tables work very well.  BUT!  The highlight was the laser tag area.  Not the biggest I've played in, but very well maintained, moderated, and safe.

Customer Service: 4 out of 5
The nice people who worked there must have thought something was a little funny when two guys showed up randomly on a Friday morning (guys close to the age of 30 mind you), but we were treated with cordiality, respect, and overall friendliness.  The lady that walked us through the laser tag was patient with our silly questions (where's the base, can you shoot the base, etc. etc. etc.)

    Overall: 4 out of 5
Pretty cool place, please take into account I went on a week day in the late morning.  I'm sure things pick up at night, as there was a set queue for laser tag.  I had a good time, and between my buddy and I, we spent a total of 20 bucks and killed probably 2.5 hours there.  We ended up giving all of our tickets away to these little kids, who were grateful for their new stash.

We needed to waste some time before the corn maze opened so we popped into Boondock's for some mini putt.  We ended up buying some super fun pass thing for $15.  With that we played two rounds off mini putt, raced around in go-karts, zipped around in a game of laser tag, spent far too much time playing arcade games in effort to winning a Care Bear monkey... and overall had way too much fun.  We ended up spending like 4 hours in this place.

One of my highlights in Boise. :)

For the area, this is the best place to bring your kids. They recently remodeled the place and it is great. My son is 5 and obviously has a blast everytime. They built this new play structure that is pretty cool, and they do not charge for it. Which is some great free inside fun.

Games are good, golf is good, have not tried the food, but would not expect much from it anyway. I am sure it is better than chuck e cheese pizza.

The cool thing about boondocks is it is like chucky cheese except not quite so trashy.  Kind of like bellagio compared to circus circus.  But it is definitely more spendy.
