This school has since been renamed Waha Montessori. It is a private preschool offering a bilingual program (Mandarin Chinese and English). They take kids as young as 18 months up to 6 years of age. My son has been going there for almost 2 years now and in the time, has managed to pick up Mandarin. He understands completely when Mandarin is spoken to him (still refuses to speak back) and is able to recite poetry and sing songs from memory. The curriculum is quite extensive for such little tots. They learn things like the rainforest, the environment, writing, reading, mathematics. They do teach the kids a lot but the turnover of teachers is quite high here so internally, things aren't run too smoothly (hence minus 1-star). If they can get their act together it COULD become one of the better private preschools in the South Bay. However, without proper management, things are just going downhill at superspeed. Another thing is, although it is called a Montessori, it doesn't follow the Montessori philosophy completely.
