The folks here at Wag the Dog have been our lifesavers lately. Our house is up for sale right now, and we've had to use them a ton so people can come by and look without being mauled by our aggressively friendly pug. We've also used them for boarding a few times as well, he always comes home looking happy and ready to tell us stories of his adventures.
They've been super accommodating, even taking him in last minute when we've been in a pinch, and all the staff we've met is really friendly. My only complaint is that their weekend boarding often fills up in advance, but as long as you know your plans within a week or two, you can get in just fine. $35 for boarding (includes a full day of day care too, some places charge extra for that), and they also do 1/2 day daycare for only $10, which is awesome. Normal daycare is $23, but they also do several different "passes", 5 visit, 10 visit, etc, at a slightly discounted rate.
So nice to have a place like this so close to home.
I've been taking my pug to Wag for several months now, and today, I knew I had to write a review. When I asked my "boy" this am if he was ready for doggie day care, his ears pricked up and he started dancing. Once we parked the car, he started barking and didn't stop even after we got inside. He was bouncing so much, it was hard for me to get his leash off, and once I did, he ran for the back door that leads to the play area....he never even bothered to turn around and say good-bye! Now, that's a dog who LOVES to go to daycare!
The staff always seem just as excited to see him as he is to see them, and every time I pick him up, I get a full report of who he played with that day.
We only live about ten minutes away, but, he's usually fast asleep within the first three minutes of our drive.....with a big smile on his face.
I would recommend this daycare over and over!!
