MMM-mmm. Sure nuff that's some good cookin'! Love me some Waffle House. Thank the Good Lord in heaven we don't have anything like this in the northwest. I would have exploded by now. I'm sorry, but I love good greasy food! There's plenty of nasty greasy out there, but this stuff is good greasy. Relatively clean place, considering its open 24-hours. That's right, I said it - TWENTY FOUR HOURS!
Where do you go after a long night of ... whatever? Waffle House, baby. The sugary, the salt, the greasy, the... goody. -

I'm on the eating spree of anything midwest. This includes waffle house and almost included white castle. Anyhow...I ended up here as the hotel food is way too stuffy and the starbucks coffee is pretty horrendous. Anything would be better...
I took a walk across the Renaissance parking lot and ended up at the waffle house. Yep - it's a chain; it's got a plastic non folding menu; biscuits and gravy are a highlight; I felt like this is the greasy spoon place that would make me right.
Ordered a waffle, bacon, and hashbrowns. Everything is pretty diner-ish and nothing is a surprise. That is exactly what I wanted. Crispy bacon, greased up hash browns, and a buttered up waffle. If you are hanging out at the Renaissance, I'd say to walk over unless you need to impress somebody. The hash browns can come topped with anything and everything. The waitress gave me the funniest look when I said I wanted mine plain - I don't recall her witty remark, but it had something to do with god or nature or something intending them that way.
I would come back. -
