I've only been here once and plan to never go again! I was a bridesmaid in my aunt's wedding and she decided to have it down there where our family is from and they were still stuck back in olden days time. Don't get me wrong, some parts are nice, but the town in general is very slow. We were coming from a horrible night at a country party and was in desperate need of food. We decided to stop by the Waffle House before heading back to the hotel. We walked inside and asked if they accepted credit cards, in return we received twisted faces and squinted eyes that responded they don't take cards, as if credit cards don't exist down there. We were forced to use the atm at the gas station and pay the $2.00 fee!
At this point, we were just hungry, so we sat down to discover the seats were sticky and they servers took a long time to take our orders. Once the food did come, it was less than mediocre! Not even pure hunger could mask the fact that, the food was badly seasoned and carelessly cooked. Talk about a bad night.
