Oh Waffle House, I have heard some stories about you!!! Many of which are never very good.. I had to at least come and visit once because I was in a state that actually had one. I am being fairly generous with the two stars here. I only give the two stars because of how entertained I was just being there! This place makes Denny's look like upscale dining. LOL Make sure you come after 1am like I did so you can see the truly eclectic crowd, and by that I mean drunk as HELL and LOUD.
The food... I think these are hands down the worst waffles I have ever had in my entire life. I thought I'd take a try at the "strawberry" which we all know for the price, it's not going to be remotely real anything. I was right. Picture someone filling your waffles with captain crunch berries! LoL I guess if you like that sort of thing, then this place is for you, but I think I have now found a new appreciation for frozen Eggo waffles. I keep hearing the ICP song play in my head as I eat my super artificially flavored waffle.. "I love waffle house. I stab people there. They're so sh*tty and dumpy they don't even care.."
My friend's Texas cheese steak sandwich scared me, and I think if I had eaten it I might not have made it out alive.
The staff was friendly but you can tell they are partially dead inside from having to work at this place. The place was.. well, the decor looks like it hasn't been updated since like 1970 and the tables were kinda sticky still. This is really a "you get what you pay for" kinda place. -

I'm not sure what the other reviewer expects at a Waffle House, but it certainly shouldn't be high quality food. Its a waffle house, you should expect bowls of grease!
The great part of this Waffle House is consistency....the food definitely is the same every time I go...its greasy, low cost food...take it for what it is.
What COULD be better here is the customer service. There's a very large, older, grumpy waitress there all the time and she has such a terrible attitude. One day when I was there, I actually saw her having a fit and she was literally throwing dishes around, making so much noise and commotion is was very awkward. -

Look is this GREAT food that you'll die for? Hell no, these little dives are awesome for classic diner food cooked right in front of you. I mean come on people, get over yourselves, you can only cook an egg so many ways but when you are someplace like Denny's or IHOP you MIGHT be getting eggs, but you might just be getting some egg/soy/whatever mix. If I order eggs, I want there to be one ingredient - eggs.
Back on track, pick your meat (I recommend a nice greasy Texas cheesesteak melt and get some hashbrowns. I like mine scattered,covered, and chunked but feel free to do your own thing. My last recommendation is if you order yourself a burger (they are rather so so), order a side of 2 eggs scrambled with cheese and put them on top of the burger and enjoy the same egg burger I've been enjoying for 20+ years now.
They are always open, so it does make them perfect for those late nights out, but if you've been drinking make sure your stomach can handle the heavy dose of grease and butter. -

You're kidding me... Anyone who likes this place needs to revisit how to eat healthfully. No wonder this country has a huge weight problem.

Go to Waffle House (any Waffle House 'cause they're all the same) only if you're drunk , broke, and like to eat bowls of grease.
