Texture was light, it's like Belgian waffles.
Inside the waffle you'll find sugar bits.

I had the lemon blueberry. Lemon curd with was a great combo.

I found the waffle cakes food truck at the Aurora food rodeo 10 mins before closing. Waffle cakes was happy to make me a fresh Waffle. Originally I ordered the bacon goat cheese waffle, however after placing my order I asked the lady working at the truck what her favorite waffle was. She said the strawberry goat cheese pecan waffle with balsamic drizzle. It sounded good so I changed my order, and she was happy to accommodate. It was delicious. My waffle was $7. A little steep for the size, but the taste made it worth it and I will definitely check out their store front for

The community I live in recently had this truck come out and was surprised at how decent their waffles are. Little bit of a wait but not that bad of food. Only recommendation I'd make to the owner is have another waffle iron or be a little more organized when managing events so you don't have so many people waiting.

Amazing! We just tried them at the Arvada and Ales festival. Best waffle ever! Nice little crunch with a sugar glaze. I tried the bananas foster and my husband had the caramel Apple. Perfect size portion, just right for one person. Totally gave in to my sweet tooth. So many options, would try more for sure!!!

I wish I had a more capable sweet tooth to be able to eat more than one dessert at a time from this place! I can honestly say hands down the best sweets and coffee I have ever had. I wish they were closer to me but even when I spent a pretty penny to get it delivered I had zero regrets. I tell my friends and coworkers about this place whenever the subject arises. It is a must try and a must return :)

I have been wanting to have Waffles from Waffle Cakes. So when the opportunity arises, and we knew from their Facebook they will be at Stapleton Farmers Market to Waffle Cakes we went. Our recent visit was October 14th 2012.

There is always a line to queue to purchase the waffles from Waffle Cakes. I opt for the Nutella Strawberry Waffles. My waffle purchase cost $5.50. When I receive my Waffle order, YES, the waffle is hot but not so hot you cant eat it, its more like luke warmed. Maybe its because due to the weather that morning a little chilly and my waffle turned "cold" fast.

Yes, its just a Waffle Cake, topped with Strawberry as fruit cut into slices and spread with Nutella. My order also came with Pink Colored Whipped Cream and drizzled with Chocolate Sauce. Yes, Its LOADED with SUGAR.

Maybe due to the "luke-warmed waffle" it was just An-OKAY Waffle in my books. You can also purchased Frozen Six Pack Waffles from Waffle Cakes. Hmm if I could purchase those Frozen Six Pack Waffles and baked it at home maybe my review might differ.

We hired Waffle Cakes to serve dessert at our wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau and it was the best decision we could have made dessert-wise. They were pleasant and so easy to work with. We tasted some waffles to decide which would be served, we made a small menu of 5 waffles, told them when to show up, and they did and that was it! They were thorough throughout the planning process and made sure that we weren't missing anything. When we had to delay our wedding by a year because of COVID, they were very accommodating. On the actual day of the wedding, they pulled up their trailer and served delicious waffles after dinner. We got so many compliments on how interesting and fun and tasty it was! I cannot recommend Waffle Cakes for your wedding highly enough.

Delicious! A bit small portion of a waffle but It could be that I just have a huge sweet tooth! Customer service was good~

Can't believe no one else has reviewed this truck yet! While I've been debating trying it for the last year, I finally took the plunge last night and all I can say is YUM!

I ordered the turtle cheesecake waffle... They had run out of regular whipped cream so gave me lemon on the side with fresh blueberries. This was two desserts in one for me and both were great!

My friend's very gluten allergic mother also got a (gluten free) waffle - lemon blueberry - and said it was fantastic with no allergy issues!

So if you see them around (concerts in the park, rhythm on the river, prospect on Monday night, twin peaks mall, etc) and you want dessert, give them a shot! Prices are comparable to desserts at Pumphouse and Sun Rose (a bit less, really) and the treats are just as good.

Bonus, they also serve savory versions!
