i was recommended to see Dr Polyakov by my DDS to remove my two upper wisdom teeth and was beginning to get an infection. I have a history of bad dentist and was very scared but he eased me down from my fear and explained the whole process.
That same week i had my wisdom teeth extracted and had minimal swelling and hardly any pain. He called me later in the evening to see how i was doing and told me i could call him if i had any concerns or questions.
His staff was very nice and polite. I paid cash and had a great price for the service i was provided with. My exam once in was about 25-30 minutes, so i was told by my friend that took me.
I have been recommending him to all my Friends that require his excellent services. -

Dr. Polyakov is an outstanding instance of Yelp success! The reviews were there, so I went, and it exceeded my expectations.
I kid you not, I did not experience ONE MINUTE of pain during or even after the procedure. I realize this might be rare- as expressed by Polyakov himself when he called to see how I was doing (excellent bedside manner)- I explained that I had been doing the suggested 15 min icing (bags of peas) alternating on each side and had yet to experience pain. And it never came.
Added bonus- an AMAZING panoramic view of the hills in the Op room.
Also- I got an email on the spot of my xray- which was a pretty cool pic.
Months later, my mouth is in excellent condition and I still look back fondly on Polyakov and his beautiful, professional, and obliging staff. If only he were my dentist!

I was referred to Dr Polyakov and have never been happier. His staff is friendly, warm and empathetic. His passion for his work and care for his patients emulated through the office which made for a pain free visit. I have been dealing with TMJ pain since a bad experience with an orthodontist in my teens and Dr Polyakov has offered me a solution to this issue...FINALLY. No longer dealing with chronic pain and its like I have my life back. He absolutely cares about his patients as he called later in the evening to check on my progress. Professional, caring, intuitive and knowledgeable; he exceeds all expectations, and so does his staff!

I went to Dr.Polyakov about a year ago and I've been meaning to right a review but just never got around to it.
I woke up on a Sunday morning with extreme pain right where my wisdom teeth were. Dr.Polyakov came highly recommended to me so I decided to give him a shot. I went in on that monday where he took his time and examined my teeth. He took x-rays. He sat down with me and clearly explained what was happening with my wisdom teeth while showing me on the x-rays.
Because my gums were inflamed, he gave me some medication to reduce the swelling. I was scheduled to go in a couple days later, where he then put me to sleep and pulled all four of my wisdom teeth. Dr.Polyakov was very gentle with me. Trust me, I fear dentists and oral surgeons the most.
The procedure took roughly 30 minutes. And the recovery was very easy too. I mean, don't get me wrong, I did get my teeth pulled so don't expect the recovery to be completely painless. But compared to what I thought, it was a very easy recovery. I went back in about a week later for a check up. Everything was fine.
It's now a little over a year ago, and I've never had a problem with where my wisdom teeth were.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR.POLYAKOV!!!!! -

I must say I was terrified having my wisdoms teeth removed. In general the word "dentist" makes me shiver, I have never had cavity or anything else than a cleaning done to my teeth so when I was informed that 2 of my 4 wisdoms teeth were impacted and I needed them removed asap I got really scared...
I found Dr. Polyakov online and made an appointment with him because of the great reviews. The staff scheduled me that same day and what a great experience it was walking into their office. I was greeted with a welcoming smile from the 2 girls at the front desk.
My whole consultation with Dr. Polyakov was positive and professional. I was able to schedule my surgery that same week, the staff and Dr. Polyakov assured me I was in good hands and they would make this experience as comfortable and quick as possible. I decided to have all 4 wisdoms teeth removed.
Two days later I went back for my surgery, once again terrified and tense, expecting the worse but the wonderful nurse helped me relax. All I remeber was the iv in my arm, next thing I woke up with my mouth full of gaze and a nice "high" feeling :-) It was such a pleasent experience, I was worried over nothing.
My full recovery took about 2 weeks, minor discomfort and pain that was easilly taken care of with advil. I was up and about and on with my daily tasks after 3 days:-)
I do think they are expensive compared to other oral surgeons but then again, knowing you receive the best and most professional treatment and care it's worth the extra money :-)
I highly recommend Dr. Vladimir Polyakov. Thank you again for some amazing work! -

I didn't actually get any work done at Dr Polyakov's office, but I did go in for a consultation to get my wisdom teeth out. I chose not to go with this office for several reasons:
1. I felt like I was being given a sales pitch instead of an actual explanation of the process, and the doctor talked WAY too fast with a thick accent. Even when I asked him to speak slower, he ignored me and it almost felt like he was rushing to get me out of his office. That made me visualize him rushing through my surgery, no thanks!
2. He then told me one of his assistants does the cutting during the actual procedure. Call me a snob, but if you don't have an M.D. or a D.D.S. (Doc of Dental Surgery vs Doc of Dental Science) you're not coming anywhere near my body with a knife.
3. I told him I needed to get my wisdom teeth out because I was getting invisalign and he completely bashed invisalign saying it doesn't work and not to waste my time. It would have been less annoying if he actually provided an alternative solution, but he just kept saying it wouldn't work. **As a sidenote I got invisalign and it's working beautifully so far =)
4. When I asked about the cost, the girl I talked to was really awkward about telling me, and I kind of got the vibe she felt they'd be overcharging me.
Suffice it to say I went to a different office to get the procedure done and was very happy with the whole experience there. If you have questions about where I went, feel free to message me =) -

It's 7 hours after the procedure and I feel great! It's still in a little pain but i think my impacted wisdom teeth hurt more. I'm so glad I got it done by him.
To recap what happened, my wisdom teeth have been hurting for the past 4 days and I was hoping to ride it out and just as I have been doing with my other teeth one day I decided I couldn't continue with the pain so in a desperate attempt I Googled "Emergency Wisdom Teeth removal" and was lucky enough to find this practice that was very conveniently 5 minutes away from my home!
They were able to take me right away and immediately walking into the door Dr. Polyakov's beautiful staff greeted me, knew my name and worked as a team to get my insurance logistics figured out. Shortly after I was called in and a lady (I think her name is Natalie) very thoroughly went through everything to expect.... procedure, discomfort... and days to come. Then Dr. Polyakov came in told me my options and even showed me a video about why my wisdom teeth are in pain! I really appreciated the knowledge! :)
Anyway, my only option was the "laughing gas" because I didn't have anyone to pick me up and for "the most painful option" there is it really wasn't bad... but maybe it was because the doctor was THAT good.
Afterwards I was brought into another room with a really comfortable chair and they went over some more things after the doctor came back to ask how I'm doing and to say goodbye.
Overall, I can't but rave about Dr. Polyakov. He was friendly, funny and straight forward (much appreciated in a dentist.) He even called me a few minutes before closing to ask how I'm doing.

I had my wisdom teeth taking out here.
Stuff here are nice and friendly, I am not having any issues with healing process, so I am assuming Dr did a good job.
BUT. They ripped me off with charging unnecessary additional 15 min of anesthesia, and even though I had surgery May 24th, I am still fighting to get money back!
They already admitted they over charged me, but no money back yet!!!
And even though they admitted they over charged me, they are still coming up with excuse and telling me they don't give me a full refund.
Also, when I went in for a consultation, they schedule me for Monday, May 24th, which was a week away from Vegas trip I've been looking forward to all year long.
So I told them I've been looking forward to this trip and don't want to ruin it with pain, and asked them if I should schedule it for after the trip.
They told me I will feel normal after 3 days, so no worry, I can even do it on wednesday and I will feel fine by the trip.
So I trusted them and did it on Monday. BIG MISTAKE!!!
My bottom wisdom teeth was "impacted" and those 2 hurts so bad even after the surgery. I ended up in pain during the whole Vegas trip, took so much fun out of the trip. I mean, I couldn't even eat or drink normal at all.
I think they just want it done and get my money.
It shows how much they are concern about THEM and not A PATIENT they are supposed to care for!
Don't go here, they cheated with the bill and lied about healing process. -

I spent 7 years fearing the extraction of my wisdom teeth and let me tell you, two days in, it couldn't have went smoother. I've had minimal swelling, almost no pain and no bruising. Dr. Polyakov and his staff were extremely friendly, compassionate, and they had me in and out of the procedure within an hour. I felt so well after the surgery (and of course the effects of anesthesia differ per individual), I could've probably driven myself home! So, on the day after having three teeth removed, I cannot recommend this man & his staff enough.
Now, let's hope I didn't jinx myself and everything heals up nicely! -

I must echo the other recommendations for Dr. Polyakov. He recently removed my wisdom teeth and I have been nothing but impressed with the level of care provided by him and his staff, especially after hearing many horror stories from friends who have had their wisdom teeth done elsewhere. I had very little pain, no bruising (a real achievement because I am prone to bruising but I didn't even bruise at the site of the iv), and minimal swelling. I opted for general anesthesia and it was a breeze. The procedure took very little time and I was fine with Tylenol 3s.
It was a great plus for me that they are upfront about costs and offer care credit, since I am uninsured. Overall the process could not have been better and I would recommend this office to anyone. -

Let me start off by saying that I've had TRAUMATIC experiences with Dentists and had been very reluctant ever since. An infection forced me to seek medical attention.
I called requesting an emergency appointment and Dr. Polyakov's staff scheduled me within the hour. I had a panoramic x-ray taken and Dr. Polyakov evaluated my situation with great care and detail. They could sense my hesitation and tension from my previous experiences and gave me time to come to a decision that i felt comfortable with.
I CANNOT praise Dr. Polyakov and his staff enough! They all made me feel SO comfortable and calm throughout the entire process. From the moment I walked in the staff greeted me with enthusiasm , warmth and genuine care. Something that is very rare and hard to find.
I had 3 teeth extracted with local anesthesia and had NO bruising and very minor swelling. I am EXTREMELY happy with the experience!! Dr.Polyakov is a true genius!

It's like selling cars except they pull teeth. I get in here and its like "so when can we take out those wisdom teeth?" but i was asked like 5 times in a row by the dr. The whole time they kept preassuring me to make an appointment. As it turned out i went to another oral surgeoun with a little more experience and more medical education, and discovered that the teeth they were going to pull would have done more damage than good. If he ever wanted a career change he should go into selling cars, since they were so great on trying to sell me something i didnt need. Also my x-rays were never emailed to me, we paid in full in CASH.

I had a tooth pulled by Dr. Polyakov about 3 weeks ago and am happy to report that the procedure went well and my tooth has completely healed. I really liked the fact that I was given clear instructions on how to take care of my tooth when I went home, as well as information that I could access on the website. Dr. Polyakov and his staff are very good at what they do and I appreciate how friendly and nice everyone in the office was.

Um, wow. I got my wisdom teeth pulled by this man yesterday (I am 31 years old so it was no small feat) and it couldn't have gone smoother. The office staff was incredible and friendly and so helpful. They set me up with a payment plan, recommended anesthesia (yay nitrous!) and I was in and out of there well within my one-hour meter. My healing was the easiest I have ever experienced. I would recommend this oral surgeon to anyone out there. I am a dental wuss but it was alllll good.

I'm relatively new in this country, so I'm always scare of going to a dentist. These staff took me yesterday my wisdom teeth (3), and the procedure went smoothly and I have no swelling and a minimum pain at all. I will highly recommend this dentist.

It has been nearly 4 years since my procedure and I can not stress enough how unprofessional, unethical, and rude this butcher is! I came in for a procedure to remove a minor lesion on my gums and this minor procedure turned into the worst nightmare of my life. To this day I suffer from excruciating pain and have had several complications due to his poor oral work. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars attempting to salvage my gums at this degenerates expense. I have never met such a poor mannered doctor in my life! And don't get started on his disgusting lack of bedside manner. From the second I walked into his office I felt like I was in a butcher shop. The doctor and his staff are so unprofessional that it felt like they were trying to sell me something. From them talking crap about their patients (including myself) in their native tongue to whispering behind me to take my money, I can not stress enough to avoid this doctor at all costs. Please if you are considering going to see this butcher (for lack of a better word) PLEASE think twice!
