Go for lunch and get the meatball appetizer! Shockingly amazing. If i could bold the word amazing i would.
ViVi is right next to Nikki Beach.
We went back this past Sunday night for an impromptu casual dinner after my flight back to Atlanta was cancelled. Even better the second time around. Vivi is a great casual italian restaurant with a solid menu, consistently good service and great wine.
We started with the warm mozzarella appetizer with sauted mushrooms and a spinach salad. Again, I had the seafood linguine and he had sauteed veal with mushrooms. I had a great glass of Shiraz which he later ordered b/c it was so good (and he's typically not a wine drinker). I should have opted out of dessert as that was the only weak point. The mascarpone cheesecake was far from being the freshest I've ever had. It's obvious that they order from an offsite source.
It was a great, well-paced meal with intriguing eye candy coming from Sunday night at Nikki Beach as well as Prime 112 across the street. Vivi is a hidden gem.

Typical Italian Restaurant , Vivi is the youngest sister of Carpaccio and Bella Luna. Vivi has good food and a nice bar, the fact that you can have a seat outdoor and enjoy the beautiful Miami weather is a plus. The manager is attentive and the waiters know what they are doing 75% of the time. I ll definitely recommend Vivi for anyone that wants to have a casual Dinner , jeans is OK , and enjoy a good meal. They also have a bar inside with drinks and cocktails. They just started doing breakfast which is also good , not great , but good enough with Omelletes, pancakes, waffles, fruits , juices, bread and etc.
The price has changed from when it first opened up and it's more expensive now, but still affordable.
The Eggplant parmigiana is off the chain....
