About 1 year ago John drove to my home to show me samples to make me confident in his work (and I was only purchasing 1000 business cards). Today I'm working with a client that will be printing business cards and I am recommending you to them.
Good quality product at an affordable price. -

This is going to be quick and clean, because Big Newman's working double shifts here.
I received a ton of business cards from a well known online distributor when I initially stepped into my own small business. Completely unsatisfied with the quality of the finished product, I threw the cards into their destined resting place: the trash.
After some quick searching, I found VMS print here on Yelp, and sent John an email. His price and offered product quality level were both superior to what I'd previously paid for, and after some discussion - where he personally went back and forth with me via email to get some details correct - he met me in person to hand off my new business cards, which look PHENOMENAL!!!
So that's that. My new and only printer for all cardstock needs. -

John was nice enough to meet me up and listen to what I wanted out of a business card. I needed them at a deadline, so it only gave him 4 days to complete the job, in which he did! Great to work with, and was always nice about my last minute changes to the overall design of the business card. Thank you! Will do business again. And VMS is highly recommended it!

I recently had some very custom business cards made with John and I think the results are fantastic. The output product is exactly what I wanted. In more detail:
I knew what I wanted to produce but not how to format the files, the dimensions, or the color. John was patient and took the time to truly understand my project. He provided the necessary advice for me to understand what kind of design and media would work best for my situation. He was easy to reach by phone, prompt in returning e-mail, on-time with predicted estimates, and accurate in the cost assessment.

John managed a redesign of my company's outdated newsletter, and i was very happy with the outcome. John = one cool cucumber, one cool dude, so easy to work with. like another yelper said, no matter what you do, what crazy changes you have, John takes everything in stride with a smile on his face. in the past, I used to manage all aspects of the production process - now i can just call john, tell him what i need and he takes the reigns. HE deals with the printer, HE deals with the mail house, HE coordinates the graphic artist, YOU just have to make sure to pay the bill. also, it was important to me to use recycled paper, soy-based ink, and a printer who used wind or solar power, and he got me all 3 PLUS a 4-color newsletter (vs. my previous bland 2-color) for a comperable price! so nice!
i would definitely recommend John to anyone i know. and Yelp uses him too, so he must be good! -

We've always had our cards printed by Leewood Press, and they've always done excellent work, but for smaller jobs (like getting business cards printed for a single new employee), their prices didn't seem competitive. Based on the Yelp reviews (and the recommendation of the Yelp staff themselves), I decided to try VMS, who came in at 1/3 the price on a small order.
John got the cards turned around on a very quick timeline, but when they arrived, we realized there had been a problem with the fonts (they didn't have our font and the system had automatically substituted in a similar one without anyone noticing). Just as I thought the whole experiment of switching printers was going to go south, John saved the day - he had an entire new batch printed and delivered to our offices within a miraculously short number of hours. The new cards are perfect - very high quality paper and printing, and they did an excellent job of matching our previous cards. Despite the mistake, we still have cards in time for the important meetings tomorrow, and it was definitely one of those instances where VMS took what might have been a huge problem and turned it into an opportunity for truly excellent customer service.

John has been super helpful. I have used them to print guide books for several large scale events. They are always willing to accommodate last minute requests and pricing is very reasonable. I wish all the printers I worked with were this easy!

Ok, I seriously do not believe in reviewing things I have not tried, bought, used, etc. But I actually had a project at work where we needed some work done outside of the office and I figured... let me see what Yelp has to offer in the review department. Yelp uses this place... that was enough for me to give them a try. When I found this place I decided to contact them via their website and waited the 48 hours requested for a quote. This was about 2 weeks ago... I am still waiting for it. Perhaps the website produced an error? Maybe my order was not worthy enough... all I can do now is assume. I would have called, but I am from the school of thought that if someone is requesting my services (I am a consultant... so it is part of my work to do this)... I will contact them... I will make sure to let them know I got their request and I will get back to them within the amount of time. Of course, when not possible, I will let them know why and when I will get back to them. I just did not have the luxury of time to call the to see what happened and ended up going with someone else who did get back to me. In my line of business... time = $$$. Maybe next time we have a need for the services offered by this company I will give them a try because of all the good things I have read here and I rather keep things local aand support small business. I am hoping that perhaps this was all some sort of technological error and I believe in second chances.
I know this is not going to deter anyone from trying this place because this is not my reason for posting this. I am just sharing my experience (1 out of the 11 currently posted here). And as I said... I am willing to give them a try again if I have a chance. =) No hard feelings... just making an observation and since this is where I got my information about this place and their services... I am just reporting back. (1 Star)

I had an idea to have a postcard made up of the holidays I've taken over the past year. I called a couple of other printers and they would only make a quantity of 500 or more...then I finally called John and he was more than happy to help make my idea a reality. He set everything up for me and they cards were ready to go within days! They were a hit! The quality was there and it didn't break the bank:)

Seriously, no matter how flaky we are or how many times we change our minds on what to print, John takes everything in with a smile and gets it done right and quickly for us. He'll find the best quotes on everything from your basics from business cards to poscards to pens and static vinyl clings. As a designer, I work with a lot of folks and he's top notch and knows his stuff.

John offered me the best prices in town for a set of quick-turnaround postcards in digital 4 color process. The finished product was very good, his customer support was outstanding (especially when his printers had delays and therefore delayed our order) and the prices can't be beat. John even hand delivered the pieces himself! Would def use again.

i really can't say enough good things about vms print!
there are definitely perks to supporting local businesses, and that's evident every time i have worked with these guys. 2 of the 3 times i have used them, they've pretty much saved me. i needed a super fast turnaround on print jobs, and they came through, without overcharging me. plus, they came to our office to drop off a hard-copy proof and then hand-delivered our brochures to us and saved us from going to tradeshows without anything to hand out... TWICE.
this is all aside from the fact that they actually do really great work. i;ve gotten things from kinko's, vista print and all those other online guys that advertise themselves as being fast and cheap.... compared to vms print, their product pretty much sucks, and they are neither fast nor cheap.
i highly suggest using these guys for your next print job.
p.s. john is great!
