Unlike the other reviewers (so far), Jeff actually DID photograph our wedding at the Hawthorne Hotel this past July. We spent almost two years planning our Salem wedding so we had plenty of time to make sure that we picked the BEST! He was professional from the start---responding to e-mails and phone calls promptly, coming to our house for a thorough consultation, and even setting up a complementary walk- through of our venue prior to the wedding date. He made it a priority to find out what WE wanted in a photographer and in the pictures he captured, he absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. He captured the things that were really special to us and was able to evoke the feelings that made our wedding unique in his photographs. EVERYONE that we've shared our online slideshow with so far has been enthusiastically impressed with the photos. One of the great things about Jeff is that our package includes a DVD with ALL the photographs he took so that we can print them out as we choose---not many photographers are willing to give you that kind of ownership over your pictures! If you aren't able to pay the price of the pictures on the gallery you don't have to! We highly recommend Jeff Folger for your wedding!

Wedding photographer.
As a wedding photographer I try to make each bride, feel like they are the most important person in the world leading up to and after the wedding. I try to keep in touch with brides through the years and become their family photographer when their first children arrive.
Family and children portraits follow from the first happy occasion into the next and I offer many possibilities for families from maternity shots to babies first year books. I've been told I have great patience and tolerance for being around the little ones... Maybe so but I'm basically a big kid myself so we get along well.

History
Established in 2004
I retired in 2003 from the Air Force. As I started working in the private sector I realized that my passion for photography was being recognized more than just family and friends and soon I was being asked to photograph weddings and family portraits.
I decided to forgo the safe route of working in corporate America and opened Vistaphotography. Since then I have enjoyed being with families and couples on some of the happiest moments of their lives. I can't imagine a better way to spend my life...

Photographer, Artist, Fall Foliage travel writer for Yankee Magazine. I wear many hats and enjoy them all.
I served 22 years in the Air Force which allowed me to return to my favorite place to live, New England.
I've been using my camera to record the world around me since my father taught me to use an old roliflex camera and taught me to develop B&W film in our basement. Over the years I was never far from a camera. In 2004 I was asked to shoot a friends wedding and then a few more asked. The next year I was laid off and I decided to do this full time.
Since then I've branched out into Maternity and Babies first year books. Along with Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. I feel I'm so lucky to be able to do what I love and capture images of people that come to me to photograph their families or the big events in their lives.
