There are 3 components to this golf course. They have a driving range, 18-hole course and a 9-hole (all par 3) course called the Chica course. I have never played the 18 hole here, but have made use of the driving range and the 9-hole Chica course (which is excellent to work on your short game). All day access to Chica is $16 on the weekends.
The driving range is great, never had to wait although they do get crowded at times.
The Chica course is great and can be played in about an hour and a half. It has never been too crowded, even on the weekends. Most we ever had to wait was about 5 minutes.
Maintenance of the course is good enough. The Chica course has a large lake on it that has been used in many TV shows and commercials. The lake attracts a large number of canadian geese and ducks, watch out for the poop around the lake. Since these are migratory birds, the course is limited to what they can do to control the birds.
I used to come here when I was 15, though it was for ice blocking and partying on the course at night. This place has not changed since then though.

Definatly a place to go have fun playing a casual game with friends. Not too challenging, and holes are designed for fun with a couple holes under 100, no par 5's, and an island green (although duck poop is everywhere around). Conditions from tee to green are good, definately not great, but not terrible. Come for a 3 1/2 round for a good time.
Great executive course, its challenging and has some nice Par 3's and 4's. The course is very well kept up. The course is walkable but on the weekends I would recommend getting a cart.
Nice local course!
Greens: Hard to see where balls land and lately driving has been on mats. Probably they'll let us back on the grass during summer..?
It has an 18-hole executive course (Vista) plus a back nine, all par 3's (Chica). Chica is a nice little course to practice your short game. Distances range from 55+ to 110+ yards and has a good variety of elevation changes. A few holes have tees that are at least 15 ft above the hole, which are fun to play; one w/a gully between tee and green and one w/a water hazard. I'd rate the grounds at 8.5. It's well-kept but all the duck poop is sort of annoying. Play is unlimited on this 9-hole course.
FYI, if it matters, i'm a golf newbie. i dunno what my handicap is but it's undoubtedly high. however, i'm kicking ass on tiger woods '06.
Trivia: I was flipping channels one day and stopped at "The Simple Life." She was wife for a day to this guy and he took her golfing. It was at this course. I recognized one of the marshals and the lake she drove their cart into.
Is it possible to enjoy a golf course ironically? I don't play golf any longer, but when I did, I enjoyed this place for its informality, cheap twilight deals and the moderate amount of goofiness you can get away with. It also is a nice piece of "old Valencia" if there is such a thing. Some of my very best memories with my dad were here. He was a very good golfer and I've always been just okay, so this place is very comfortable for a few reasons.

A executive length course, but quite challenging with some long par 3's (#2 and #3, among others) and drastic elevation changes. Very walkable and pretty views. It can get crowded on the weekend, and I've always enjoyed my round here.
Fun executive golf course with all the fixing of a full size course. Challenging holes with lots of elevation change. This was the location of our annual Chinese New Year golf tournament. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends and play can be slow. They do offer cart rental. The driving range mats are in good condition and the course was well kept.
