Only 3 stars as it is under construction right now so pathways were closed and the noise kinda sucked. They are building a train that goes around the zoo due to be finished in early summer, but I'm told you have to pay for it which is a bummer. We ended up getting a family membership and am hoping to go a lot more once the weather warms up. My 3 year old had a blast running around. There's also a cute playground/park (within walking distance) right outside the gates of the zoo. We packed a lunch and had a picnic there.

Zoo is small & seems more like a county fair than a zoo. Probably fine if it's the only zoo you go to. Ever.

Beautiful grounds and a wonderful zoo to stroll through on a nice day. The down sides are it's very small and doesn't have a large variety of animals. Also, because of the way the zoo is set up it's hard to have a good view of the animals at times. The parking is free & admission is very inexpensive.

This zoo is not so big, but it has some nice exhibits. My favorite exhibit is the reptiles, because there are more to see and more detailed information about the animals. Unless the animals decide to come out on that day, the rest are almost bare to view. Best time to visit this Zoo is during the summer - on a very beautiful and cool day.

This is the most boring zoo in the world. Even my 3 year old hates it. The petting zoo area is dirty and there are usually only a couple of animals out. I had a membership for a year but will not renew as they really don't offer members anything. There aren't very many animals and you can pretty much see everything in about an hour. It's also right next to a park that tends to get very loud on the weekends.
