Hands down the BEST airline of all time. It's only problem is that there are so few flight destinations. I'm sure that will change as they expand.

One detail that doesn't impact the quality of the flight but may surprise some people is that the planes are either very girly or very gay, depending on your perspective. I say this with a completely straight face and I challenge anyone who's flown on Virgin America to prove me wrong. A VA plane's interior looks like a 12 y/o girl's room, with hot pink and neon lights. It was very bizarre the first time I saw it. I also got a few hungry looks from the male flight attendants which further corroborated my hypothesis.

At any rate, the airline is super cheap and super fast. I think it may have to do with the fleet being more high-tech. Fly faster? Oh and lets not forget that unlike airtran or Delta, where there is a central movie screen ever 10 rows that shamelessly plays some horrible Matthew Mcconaughey movie, Virgin American has individual screens built into the back of each seat. That gives teenage girls who want to see McConaughey's abs the ability to avoid eye strain, while giving everybody else the ability to not sit through a truly sh*tty movie. I digress.

Favorite airline.

Virgin America is like the cool kid of airlines. It's the trendsetter of all things flyiing-related.

First of all it's cheaper to fly with them!

Ok, so I've used this airline once, but it's already my FAVE! The inside of the airplane exuded this vibrant shade of red all over. AAAND it had purplish lighting to go with it. Can we say cute?? That's not the end of it, though. I love their little screen because you can watch TV on it!!! Yeah, I was watching the Cartoon Network all the way to my destination. That touch-pad screen in front of you also lets you order food (free and non-free). The guy who sat next to me ordered what looked like salad that had all sorts of cheese. It looked soooo yummy.

Oh, yeah, and the safety cartoons are sooo cute!

So yeah, Virgin America rocks!

I took Virgin America to Boston and back.

My flight going to Boston arrived 30 minutes early and had no turbulence. But there were also 4 babies and yes, they were crying the entire time. Still, the flight attendants were super nice to one little girl who really had to go the bathroom and because we were about to land, she took her to the restroom instead of her mom. I thought that was pretty cool they did that.

My flight coming back to LA arrived on time and had little turbulence. The guy next to me had flown in three days before and forgot his portable hard drive. They had the thing still and gave it to him when he asked about it on our flight. I have to say that's pretty crazy they still had it and hadn't sent it back to the originating airport.

The free music and TV was very much appreciated. I definitely would fly Virgin again just so I can be on this "club" of a plane. The purple and pink lights were great!

You can "order" food and drinks anytime via the touch screen in front of you.

My only grumble was the $15 I paid each way for baggage (now up to $20). But I suppose the free wifi that starts today might make up for it.

Baggage claim was pretty quick though. Back at LAX, they even had a "fluffer" who made sure all the bags were easy to pick up with their handles facing out.

Yeah, I'd fly VA again.

Not too shabby!

They got me with an introductory rate for flying out of Seattle... price was exceedingly right. But enough about that.

Pros: The sweet purplish lighting throughout the cabin. Kind of lounge-ish. Or pimpy.
All the movie/tv options on the screen. Watching the plane on the Google map.
Ordering drinks/food from the little screen.
Both flights were smooth, no issues at all.

Cons: The much ballyhooed Virgin crew was average, there And on the way back. In fact, one of those angry type flight attendants started ragging on another one, I don't know why. She was just helping an elderly passenger wit hsomething. Luckily the one being ragged on was quite professional and just smiled in return.

I'll fly again, and they do have their Elevate club you can sign up for...

Best airline in the country.  Hands down.  I just had to bump up my flight from San Diego to San Francisco at the last minute - did so at 4am PT - and with no fee as a customer loyalty courtesy.  Round Trip for less than $100 including tax.  With black leather seats, TV's, great in-flight service, and during the holiday season - FREE WIFI - flying does not get any better than Virgin.  If you fly out of JFK, go compare the friendly professional service at the Virgin ticket counter to the rude people screaming at you over in T3 with Delta.  You'll never fly Delta (or the uber-incompetent US Airways) again.  Finally, be sure to join Virgin's Elevate Loyalty Program  - your miles last longer than with most other airlines.  Virgin America and Jet Blue are the only two airlines worth flying domestically, so go spoil yourself!

I wish Virgin America flew EVERYWHERE in the US so I wouldn't ever have to fly Southwest again :(

They have cheap airfares within the states that are usually non-stop which is a big plus if you book early.  I fly them frequently to San Francisco and Seattle and haven't had a hiccup yet.

They don't offer food, but you get an array of TV shows to choose from on your individual TV screen.  If watching the tube is not your thing, they offer a variety of games as well, or you can sign online for a small fee.  If you are starving, they do have a food and drink menu on screen to choose from that can be ordered with your credit card.

I love that you can choose your seats ahead of time, I love that they do early boarding so you're not hoarding in last minute like cattle and the staff is actually young, friendly and helpful... all of what Southwest is NOT.

THANK YOU VIRGIN AMERICA.  I love you!  Every possible time I can fly somewhere,  I fly Virgin.  The flight crew is always upbeat and they have great sense of humor,  the best.  I love the fun entertainment options, your own personal screens for everything even chatting with other people on the plane.  I saw the cockpit hahaa  that was exciting.  The prices are always great!

Best airline in the US without any doubt. Come on, it is an airline. It shouldn't be as good, especially if it is not officially European. It is partly owned by an eccentric European, but it is mostly owned by American capital. Fortunately, you shouldn't expect cheesy (Southwest) or defensive/rude (any legacy carrier) service in crappy planes. Virgin America will offer you an efficient and time-conscious service in a modern and clean fleet with cool lightning, cheap drinks and excellent onboard entertainment. Young and friendly personnel. Forget the bitter flight attendant from any legacy carrier that will hate you just because his/her life sucks. Virgin America is different. A relief for frequent flyers.

The only airline that I actually feel *hip* riding. Used this airline when I visited my ex in New York. The stewardess(s)? were young and hip. Trendy round trip flight. I really like the mood lighting. It feels like a posh bar, but then it's not a bar.

Happy flight.

This airline is awesome! All the other airline companies need to take notes and learn somethings from them.

They have direct tv, wifi, newer planes, hip music playing as you board and exit the plane, and the best part...the hot flight attendants! I thought it may have just been coincidence that all 3 of them were hot, but on the return flight home, the flight attendants were all hot on that flight too! Man it felt like I was in a bar and they were more like cocktail waitresses haha

I guess I should mention that we got to our destination ahead of time on both the outgoing and returning flight.  With all the extra benefits u get with virgin, u would think that the airfare would be more expensive.  But it's actually really competitive, if not cheaper than the others.

I don't ever want to take another airline again! I wish they would fly everywhere.

Wow...

I *LOVE* the pimp lighting inside the cabin and the touch screen entertainment/food/snack/drink order system.  I ordered the chicken pesto wrap for my meal and it was delicious.

I was *really* pissed at the flight crew on my red eye LAX-JFK flight because they would not STFU.  They talked the duration of the entire flight!  I didn't sleep at all.  I should have said something, but I didn't.  However, the flight crew on the return more than made up for it in my book.

I'll use Virgin America whenever I can!

I was flying domestic to visit a dear old friend in So Cal and was EXTREMELY impressed by this airline. Compared to the nightmarish time I had flying US Airways, this experience was top notch.

First off, the electronic check-in kiosks were new and worked without anyissues. Boom. Boarding pass.

It's a failry new airline so the planes quite literally sparkle. As I enter the main cabin I see leather reclining chairs with mini personal flat screens, purple and blue mood lighting that reminded me of a hip lounge, and a hip and funny safety/welcome video which references the mile high club. Har har.

All and all, I felt like I was on Snoop Dog's Soul Plane. No fear though there weren't any snakes on this mother f****n plane, just attractive stewardists and hip lighting.

Bonus: Airline was both on time and early for both trips.

There are many precious things that one can
only experience only once in their life time...

Such as, "Virginity"...

But with Virgin America you can enjoy great airline services
As much as your wallet can afford! (yes, lame intro as usual)

This morning my lovely wife and I used Virgin America
to fly from LAX to JFK in New York.

Everything about Virgin America is young and hip.
It has pink neon lights inside the plane, seat designs are futuristic
I have rode Airplane thousand times, but never really paid attention
to the safety instruction video, except for my very first flight.
But Virgin America has really cute and hip "cartoon" safety instructions
which I enjoyed very much! (yes, it was safety instruction video)

What's so cool about Virgin America is you can do so many things with your monitor screen infront of you. Watch movie, tv, listen to music, they even have option for seat to seat chatting and video chatting but it's for future use, and is not available yet.

Don't bother about calling flight attendance for drinks
From your seat, using touch screen monitor, you can order
foods, drinks (vodka, wine, whiskey, and etc), and snacks.
(photos attached).

Sodas and bottle of water is free. You can add as much quantity in your cart using touch screen monitor, and soon the flight attendant will bring your order. (Very Nice!!)

My wife and I was hungry so we ordered
South Western Chicken Hand Roll ($9.00)

"Zesty roasted red pepper tortilla rolled around strips of grilled chicken,
green leaf lettuce, chipotle cream cheese spread, fire roasted corn
and black beans, and a colorful trio of red, yellow and green bell peppers.
Served with a side salad of orzo pasta with Southwestern vegetables
and red pepper pesto and a Toblerone chocolate for dessert."
It was really good for a Airplane food!! Chicken was sooo tender!!
(Photos Attached)

I will definitely use Virgin America Again.

Tips:
1. If you are tall like me, I recommend that you reserve seat by exit.
Because the leg spaces are more spacious compare to other seats.
2. Always bring Headphones/Earphone with you!

Funny Facts:
Seeing my camera, a flight attendance asked us if we wanted her to take a photo for us and I said "yes please~!"
and as she pressed the shutter, instead of  saying "cheese" or "Smile" she said "Virgin~!" and i thought that was really funny~!! :P

Please make sure when sending a text message to someone in another seat that you've actually got their seat number correct.  Because what I thought I was sending to 10D really went to 11D.

MY BAD!

Anyways, chatting via touch screen technology was just one of the things that distracted my fear of flying when on a Virgin American plane.  I flew from LAX to SFO and back again using this airlines and I was pleased with the service while on board.

Each seat has a touch-screen TV fixed to it where you can spend your flight time either watching a movie or television series (some you do have to pay for), or use their satellite TV service (I watched Ghost Hunters International on SyFy all the way home).

Hungry, but don't want to call over a flight attendant? Just touch the screen and order a snack or two, an attendant will bring it right out!

This is probably the nicest, cleanest plane I have been aboard in a very long time. The seats were roomy enough for me, and actually comfortable.  Where ELSE does Virgin America make stops to? I don't really want to fly on another airline.

UGHHHHHHHH! I. LOVE. VIRGIN. AMERICA.

I've flown them to Seattle, San Francisco, New York (numerous times), and Boston. They've perfected drink/food orders on an airplane (just updated their menu), provide me with wifi on every flight, and have on demand tv. I. Love!!

They need to add Chicago & Austin and I'll never stray.

The sexiest domestic airline.

What's not to like? Technologically advanced compared to the other guys. Seductive mood lighting and music upon entery.  Staff is very accomodating and hip.  And for a whopping $109 each way from coast to coast (NONSTOP even!!), you would be incredibly stupid to fly with anyone else!

I flew LAX to SEA and back on Virgin America and had a blast!  This is a great airline to fly if you are someone with ADHD or is generally quite fidgety.  VA has free entertainment for every seat so if you forgot your iPod or PSP at home, worry not.  Just grab the remote control from your arm rest and start exploring all the neat features on the screen.

I really liked the safety video they play before each flight because they use funny cartoons!  I especially enjoyed the part where the nun puts away all her electronics. So cute.  There is also a cartoon Richard Branson clip that comes on after the safety video and I think he makes a subtle sexual innuendo, but for some reason I never caught what it was.

Overall, the seats were comfortable and the staff really nice.  I saw a minor altercation between a really bratty old lady and one of the flight attendants, but I thought the attendant really kept her cool so props to her.  That old woman's head was so thick nothing could get through to her.

I really recommend using VA for your flights, especially now that they have their $69 special deals!  Hurry up and purchase your tickets before they are all gone!

IM SO MAD! I just bought tickets on Friday for double this price!!!!! Now they are havign a sale and my same flight is down to $69. PLEASE SOMEONE take advantage of this sale so I feel like at least someone got the good deal since they want to charge me $50 per person for the change/cancellation of the reservation, so it wont make sense for me. NOTE $75 fee if you make such changes on the phone.
UUUGHHHHHH

Oh and their $15 per bag charge for luggage is now just like every other airline!!!

$13 for wireless in the plane, pay for movies, pay for food on the flight, also three extra fees that I dont understand what the heck they are for. Im starting to hate on em a little

As we board, "ticka ticka pow, tututu tick tick oontz oontz oontz tick tick ta-pa-tu oontz oontz"

I've decided this airline might be awesome if I was high on ecstasy and wanted to hear ambient dub while sitting under blue and pink neon lights crammed like a sardine in between uninviting human flesh... but sober, tired and with the speaker above my ear I wanted to, "ticka ticka pow wow" someone's ass...

Next, "ticka ticka tic tic", how many frickin' announcements does a one hour long flight need to make? Really, they make over 6 or 7 of them and then talk forever... it's like, " SHUT UP ALREADY!!!" and it interrupts the entertainment, as you can't use the little touch pad screen during the announcements.

Next, honestly the seats are so cramped. I have never been so uncomfortable. It's such a tight fit.. No wonder they call it Virgin.... bu-dum-bump! Then the satellite TV wasn't working, only the pay channels, and most of the features didn't work. To make matters worse, "ticka ticka pow oontz oontz" when I picked my seat online they told me that chair didn't recline and gave me an option to pick a different seat, which I did, and I checked to confirm that the new seat was selected, which it was. When I boarded last night it gave me the wrong seat. The non-reclining one, "ticka ticka pow wow wow".

To top it off,  hot as a young stud at Folsom Street Fair-minus the bare ass and fetish gear. What I'm sayin', what's up with the climate control.. clammy and warm.. bleck!

The End.

This airline ROCKS!!!!!

OK, so I've flown every airline possible and this one by far is the best and my new favorite. I'm so used to long lines and snobby employees that Virgin America was breath of fresh air. No long lines at all!!! They had brand new computers and the staff was amazing, they are so eager to help and practically kiss your booty, LOVE IT! The check in desk has great music playing and has great lighting, I told my friend I was traveling with I feel like I'm in a LA bar/ lounge.  I was in and out in no time.

The airplane smelled good, not like staled air or sick people like most planes do. Also, the plane was super clean and organized. It looked like a brand new plane. My absolute favorite part was the direct TV, now that TV offers something compared to itunes so that you can listen to music if you don't feel like watching TV, you can also watch music video or National Geographic episodes on demand. It made the flight seem shorter in time because you are so entertained. The plane also has a lounge feel to it, with dim colored lights, makes the traveler feel relaxed.

I will continue to fly Virgin America domestically if possible, i really enjoyed it. I can't wait to fly V Australia to Australia, I heard the plane is incredible.

Verdict: My new airline.

A hipster airline that makes flying a bit more bearable. They certainly do enough to keep you busy, its like an airline for people with A.D.D. You want games, they have em, music.... there are plenty of stations (with cursing... yea!) There are also naughty moves (more cursing) and food that you order with a credit card. I also found a password prior to boarding that cut the internet charge in half.

On the downside there was like a 50 year old guy having a flirt session with a 16 year old girl in the on-board chat room ( a sign of the times). Seats are comfortable, I hope to fly again.

Finally an airline that doesn't have a head stuck way up their ass..

American, Delta, United, etc.  I hope you are paying attention, this is the way to run an airline.

Sexy lighting, no non-sense flight crew but still friendly, in flight entertainment that will keep you busy during the entire flight.

I only wish they flew more places.. and the RED system could use some work to get the bugs out.. so I'll withhold a star.

I really love Virgin America... I only dock them a star because it seems like they really haven't worked out the kinks yet.  I fly more often than the average traveler (6-8 times per year), but am not a frequent flier per se... since VA opened up about 90% of my flights have been with them.

Half the time my outlet has been inoperable, which can be a big issue depending upon what you had planned for your electronics brought aboard.  100% of the time the Red (seat-back entertainment) system has been buggy (either blank program guide, spotty navigation response, no reception, OR all of the above), and has had to be reset mid-flight (a 10+ minute process most of the time) on about a third of the flights I've taken.

They've had enough time to get this stuff ironed out, it's time for things to run smoothly.

Despite the above issues, I'm a dedicated Virgin America customer.  If they're flying where I'm going, I'm flying with them - period.  Most of the flights I've taken with them have been short-haul (LAX--SEA and LAX--SFO for the most part), but I have a cross-country flight coming up.  I think the amenities offered on their planes will really shine with a long(er)-haul flight.

It should be noted I'm typing this review from a Virgin plane from 32952 feet over the Nevada desert, ground speed of 525 MPH with 2300 miles to go to Boston.  I can't say enough how awesome in flight WiFi is... I was a bit skeptical....but it's nearly as fast as my broadband at home.  Well worth the $12.95 per flight.

Virgin is swank and sexy as advertised... though you feel like you're entering a douchy club when entering the plane... all the window shades are drawn and the ambiance glows with muted blue and purple house lights...that make everyone look far more beautiful than they are.  Hey, when in Rome!  I think they should just go full out and install some subs and pump in some bumping euro-trash tracks... give the whole impression you're trapped in the back of a Persian guy's black BMW 5 series... (borrowing a line from Russell Peters).

The flight attendants are as helpful as any in the air...and the fact that you can order food from your seat-back entertainment device is great!  Want to get drunk?  They serve Absinthe... apparently it's been legalized in the states?

The Virgin business model is apparently to offer low-cost fares (comparable to JetBlue) with a greater number of amenities than the competition.  It should be noted that most of the amenities are for a fee, but I think this is a good business model for them.  As always, may options are free, including basic cable television, games, and seat to seat chat.  The latter seems scandalous...!

I was on the 6:30AM to SFO and back in a day. My friends have been saying, "Dude, you need to try Virgin America."

OMG, great experience. As a Gold MVP on Alaska and Million Miler on Delta, I look for good service, decent overheads and newer planes. Virgin provided all of the above.

Boarding @ 6AM, felt like an 80's NYC disco, but there's no real reason planes need to be ugly. Virgin's neon woke me up. I sat  in the cheap seats, though my buddy tried to get me to go First. The cheap seats were as good as some airline's First class seats. I liked being able to order whatever I wanted from the Techo-panel in front of me, without having to flag down a flight attendant.

The teenage girls sitting next to me were Japanese tourists and went immediately to the chat rooms where they chatted versus talking to one another. Weird, but it made it quieter.

Virgin was on time both directions and their people were hospitable. I really liked being able to check-in advance both directions. Generally, airlines make you fly a leg before you can check in for the return. This is a great feature for the $49 day trip to SFO.

I would call Virgin America the "Happy Airline".

My only gripe is: I'd rather fly on a Boeing-made plane than Airbus.

Since their inception, this has the been the best domestic airline I've been on.  Their prices are competitive compared to the industry if not cheaper but I rather pay a lil bit more to enjoy the luxuries on this airplanes.  Leather backed seats, wifi access on all planes now, and a multi-functional TV system makes Virgin America stand out amongst the rest.

Voted best domestic airline from Conde Nast Traveler Magazine in 2008 and received many accolades from the industry, I personally believe Virgin America will be very successful in the years to come.  Their elevate point system makes is very easy to rack up points for a free flight, I already had mine already in less than 4 round trips.  Virgin America, you'll be expecting me to come back soon. =)

Virgin America is really awesome.  They had the best price around for tickets from LAX to BOS.  The planes are nice and new, I got a hot pink headset, and you can order food and drinks from your seat.

I enjoyed watching Law & Order: CI while eating veggies, hummus, and pita chips, and listening to Ryan Adams and Arcade Fire.  Sure made the flight go by faster.

And now that service has started from SNA, I'll check out VA when I want to go up to SFO.

I flew within the state only, so not much experience to talk about except for their luggage fee & claim! The main reason why they get 2 stars is because they charge $15 to check in your luggage!!! I guess I should have read the rules before I booked my flight but usually it's free for at least 1 or 2 no? Ohh yea, it took forever at the luggage claim! I had to wait at least 20 mins after I got out the plane. RAWR. Other than that, they provide great services! Their staffs are really friendly. I think VA is fairly new so of course everything on the plane is pretty nice. Oh yea, it costs $2 for headphones! HA.

Thank You Thank You to Virgin America. And Thank You Thank You to those who turned me on to Virgin America.

I can't say enough good things about this airline.
Totally Sexy. Very Cool. Technically Savvy. Ridiculously Rad. Well Designed. Affordably Priced.

First, the kiosks at check-in are just so ahead of their time. Though, I was greeted by very cheery staff who wanted to take care of me personally. I was handed a ticket unlike any other paper ticket.

Second, the seating areas at the gates usually have something quirky in them. Last time I flew, there was a red carpet and a cardboard cutout of President Obama that you could take your photo with.

Third, the atmosphere in the plane is just soooo cool with the neon lights, tinted plexiglass and modern interior. This airline doesn't feel like a flying sick-ward like the others do.

Lastly, the in-flight amenities like tv, music, games, in-seat food ordering, and now internet are so appreciated. They put all other airlines to shame.

Virgin America gets it. And I will try to fly Virgin as much as possible.

i Te amo Virgin America !
I'm currently in the process of relocating to another state and Virgin America has been a total lifesaver. Flying back and forth from LAX to JFK has never been so fun. Since I've started flying Virgin, I haven't had a chance to ever be bored on a flight. I've had a chance to catch up on my trashy reality tv shows, listen to an extensive collection of mp3s, and chat with my friends who are sitting far away from me on the plane. I also like their food ordering program. You can get as many waters and free drinks as you please!

I recently missed a flight back to LAX - boy was I freaked out. I was literally at code red. While taxing over to the airport I kept having all these nightmare visions of having to pay $459 for a new one-way ticket back. However I was proven wrong as Virgin America graciously put me on the next stand-by flight at no extra charge! Sweet!

F*CKKKKK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I am never flying another airline again...
Unless flying Virgin is not an option.

While other airlines make you feel like a banjo player,
Virgin Airlines makes you feel like a rockstar!
In a room full of $2 corner prostitutes..
Virgin is the upper echelon of glamorous high-paid pornstars!

From the great pricing to the ability to order drinks & snacks...
~Options? Yes, options!

From the pink and violet interior lighting to the runway music
as you strut your sexy stuff down the aisle...
~This is not your average airline!

I love the hot pink headphones...and time whizzed by
as I kicked it in my leather chair and watched VH1
on my personal entertainment box.

Virgin ROCKS it BIG TIME!  I love this f*ckin' airline!

very cheap, flew from LAX to Boston for $89 and from Dulles to back home for $99.  My plane got stuck for hours on the runway cause of thunderstorms over DC but my personal media center was able to keep me entertained. Each chair has their own.  Dont forget to have ur stewardess bring over some absinth.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE MY VIRGIN.

Never a problem, cheap as hell, nice as hell. From the online site to check in, to RED, to landing. The best.

I've flown Virgin Atlantic to Europe twice, and Virgin America to New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco from LAX. Now, I can fly from SNA [John Wayne], which is 5 minutes from my house. I am sooooo stoked.

I've also flown to all these places for less than $200 bucks...which makes me even happier.

....and then to top it all off, I just got the email that for my upcoming trip to SF, I will now have wi-fi AND absinthe served on board!

Depending on how easily impressed you are by lights and silly videos,  you'll be impressed with this airline. As you enter the plane you will see cool "mood lighting" which is very soothing along with the leg room in the  seats. However, my flight from JFK to LAX was missing a few options, such as a snack or the fact that I had to pay $15 for my luggage. Also, the internet is abouts $9.99 but for such a short flight and since it worked off and on, not sure it was worth it. Overall it was a mildly pleasant experience, but after all my traveling this summer, it was not the greatest memory of being in the sky.

I love you Virgin so much.

I love how new you feel. How sleek you look. How soft your seats are still. I love touching your screens, playing games and watching movies and tv, sipping on your juices, and listening to the soothing house music.

I love flying with you guys because I like well designed things, and in general, you Virgin, you are a well designed thing from top to bottom, from the ticket ordering system to the terminals where you pick up the tickets, to the seat designs.

swanky! i love the blue and pink lighting up in the plane! and the nice black faux-leather chairs is a nice touch. you have to pay for a lot of stuff but you do get a free beverage. flight attendants not exceptionally nice, but oh well. you can tune them out with all the music videos and tv shows virgin offers. cute cartoons, too, on the safety info booklet. tickets are competitive with southwest if you book enough in advance.

also, if you are a frequent flier from the bay area to los angeles area, know that they dont fly from oakland or to burbank... sfo to lax only.

Got dammit, all I can say is, "I LOVE YOU!"

If you weren't a Virgin, then I'd have an affair with you, shhh...please don't tell my loverrrr...I want him to experience the feeling too...its so pleasurable..hehee! Okay, on a serious note.....

1.  Excellent Prices compared to other airlines

2.  Comfortable leather seats with arms that go up which allow me to snuggle with the person next to me

3.  Color scheme is rad...love flying at night because music is playing and there's neon lights along the wider aisle, pretty cool atmosphere

4.  Like the cabin space above the seats, seems like there's more room for carry-ons rather than other cheap wacko airlines

5.  I love the touch screens!!! This lets me kill time when I fly up to SF (i know such a long flight, eh).  I can watch music videos, watch tv, listen to music, play games, etc...blah blah..it's just awesome!

6.  I also dig that I can watch the cartoon safety instructions at the beginning rather than looking at the flight attendant, which I cannot see them anyways

7.  I almost forgot to mention that I like the self check-in kiosks...the Virgin counter is modern in colors red and white...kick ass cool!

This is the whole package for such an affordable price and you get much love from me. Please expand more flights babe~

This is review is for the reservation process via the virginamerica website.  I look to fly on Virgin America first.  The flying experience is a pleasure however the website is entirely frustrating.

The last two times I've tried to make reservations the site keeps telling me that I've been logged out due to inactivity even though I have been actively trying to make a reservation the entire time.  I tried different ways of accessing the site (through the email vs signing on the website), signing into my account at different times during the transaction, etc.  I know I can call a representative but then I'll be charged for this "convenience".  I like flying Virgin.  I like that Virgin has now introduced WiFi.  I really like the cartoon safety video.  But the website needs work!!!

I recently flew with Virgin American for the first time for my trip to Washington DC. In comparison to other airlines I've been on, I am very impressed. They truly exceeded my expectations in every way. Check in was done in a quick and orderly fashion and the attendants were very friendly. They didn't charge me for my bag, or care that it exceeded weight restrictions. Virgin really has a modern and hip touch that I haven't seen in any other airline. Once we got to our gate, an attendant actually started playing Fergie's "Glamorous" before we boarded. It was completely unexpected, but it sure set the vibe for the flight.

The interior of the plane had a purple ambient lighting that made me feel like I was entering a club or museum rather than an airplane. I really like the fact that everyone has their own entertainment system from which you can watch television, buy movies, play games ( try Anagramarama) , and even order food and beverages. Two thumbs up for their safety video. The leg room for coach is impressive too. No cramping here.

I really wish Virgin flew to more locations in the US, but I highly recommend it to anyone who has a chance to fly them. You'll be content in your flying experience for a very reasonable price. I look forward to flying with them again in February when I head to San Francisco.

Pretty effing awesome:

1.  Purple and blue lighting, shiny white seat backs make the interior of the planes look like lounges.

2.  Their cartoon safety video is entertaining enough to be the only safety video i have ever paid attention to.

3. Touch-screens in front of each seat lets you watch TV shows, movies, play games, listen to music, chat.  The channels/shows weren't that entertaining for my flight.  Movies were $8 each, which I think is kinda steep.  Sometimes, the program had issues with freezing or repeatedly going blank, so you might have to ask them to reset your screen.  Also, not all of the options were available when I flew.

4.  You can order drinks, food, and pay by swiping your credit card all through your touch-screen.  Oh, they're the first airline to serve absinthe in-flight as well.  Tried it in a cocktail, didn't care for the taste so I diluted it w/ water and ginger ale, and it was better.

5.  The staff at the ticket counter and on the plane are young, friendly, funny, and upbeat.  The stewardesses on my flights between LA and Boston were pretty hot.

6.  When the plane descends, they play loungey music to make it even less stressful

7.  Oh yeah, my flight from Boston to LA was only $179 roundtrip!

I would DEFINITELY fly again w/ Virgin.  They do it damn right.
