4 reviews for Vinny's Gourmet
I want to LOVE this place, but I often find myself wincing at the Manhattan-like prices.
What I really like about Vinny's: the selection, the late hours, the friendly deli guys who make a killer chicken or eggplant parm sandwich, or bacon egg and cheese on a roll, and the abundance of tables (for a nice quiet meal if you're there late when no one's there.)
What I don't really like, as I mentioned, are the prices... for example, a jar of classico at the bodega a block away is $3.79; here it's about $5.. Yea, I'm a cheap-ass.) I also laughed at the price for coffee filters... Therefore I skip the groceries and only come here when I want an awesome hot deli sandwich.
Vinny's is great!
Vinny's is a great addition to South Williamsburg, serving as an upscale deli and mini grocery store in an old brick building on Broadway. They're still working out the kinks, but the sandwiches are great. Try his Brooklyn-version of the cheesesteak made with real sliced top round.
(And there's no Vinny. "Vinny" is actually John.)

They have fast delivery to my apartment. Their food is good, a little over priced , but good.
thank god for vinny's!! i live a few blocks away and it's my go-to spot for cheap omelettes, great sandwiches and groceries. their homemade chocolate chip cookies are totally delish. the only complaint i have is that they're a tad overpriced, but i guess that just goes with the neighborhood.
