Definitely on of my favorite places to go !

    A date --- PERFECT !
    Family -- PERFECT TOO !

Good portions and very original taste.

    Price -- $ super affordable.

The waiting time for a table can be a drag but that its just because they are busy and that means GREAT FOOD.
It is worth the 20 min wait for a table.

This is obviously one of the churchs of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It's old, there's tons of wine and old people... it's a long standing tradition for families to come here...

    Yea, I get it.

So come here for dinner with friends/family and of course order a glass of their $3.75 house wines (I liked the Chablis)  and then get a Vince's dinner! It comes with a small soup AND salad along with a half order of spaghetti or mostaccioli with marinara or meat sauce. All for about $10!

That's a pretty good meal. Considering pasta is worth pennies and the sauce is from a base a la can, you're not paying for just the food (except DAT CHEESEBREAD, MMMMM) but for the history and tradition.

Don't forget to say your (noodles) prayer before the meal, thanking FSM!

"Our pasta, who art in a colander, draining be your noodles. Thy noodle come, Thy sauce be Yum..."

This place is a solid three stars.

Went here for lunch and ordered one of the lunch specials - the small spaghetti with meat sauce and cheese bread. I will say the cheese bread is delicious, especially if you dip it with the spaghetti sauce -YUM! Now, on to the spaghetti.  I thought it was good, but certainly not the best I've ever had.  The small portion is was just right, but I also thought there was waay too much sauce.  Though I like my spaghetti with a little sauce and this plate felt like meat sauce and the spaghetti. The sauce itself was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. My mom ordered the lunch salad which was standard as well, but I did appreciate the generous helping of pepperoni.

All in all, it's an OK place with affordable prices.

Awesome food and a great family environment while still maintaining the romantic aspect for a date.  I havent tried anything but their spaghetti because its sooo damn good that i just cant go without it.  Cheese bread is awesome too.  Every time i am there with my girlfriend we never have to wait long for out food.

The only bad thing i can say about the place is that the hours are kind of weird...They should be open like a regular restaurant so check the hours before you go.

This is the best place to go for a plate of spaghetti. When they cover the spaghetti with provolone, it's delicious.

I would recommend Vince's to anyone that is a fan of italian food.

I enjoy the simple menu and the fact that there isn't a huge selection. It's straight to the point, affordable, and easy to order.

This place is a family favorite for dinners and celebrations! Their menu is simple but the best! We like splitting the large spaghetti dinner, which comes with soup, salad and your choice of garlic or cheese bread.

Also the dinner for two togo is an amazing deal! We usually buy an extra side of sauce and you can easily feel three hungry adults!

Favorite.  Spaghetti.  Ever. Have been coming here for years and thank God it's still the same.  In the age of restaurants changing their tried and trues for God knows what reason, Vince's has remained the same. Very simple menu, portions are HUGE.  I've only had the spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic cheese bread here.  Ever.  I'm sure the rest of the menu is as equally awesome, but I've found what makes me drool and that's enough for me to pledge my undying loyalty.

I've been to Vince's twice in my 13 years of residency, and personally I'm not a fan.

A lot of people in this city like Vince's Spaghetti, and I have never really figured out why.

The last time I came here was May 2010, and it was pretty much against my will with my family, as I prefer other Italian restaurants to this establishment.

We were seated in a back room, and it felt as though we were an after thought to many of the waiters. There was a different server every time when it came to ordering our beverages and food, and actually serving us. It was really confusing as to who we should direct our questions to, as there was a different face every time.

I had ordered a spaghetti plate with regular sauce, no meat sauce. Everyone else at our table (6 other people) had ordered their spaghetti with meat sauce.  I'm not a vegetarian, I just wanted to try something different. However, they got my order wrong, and served me a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce. I was already upset from being sick and having to go here when I didn't want to, and this just made me irritable, so I opted not to fuss over it with the waiters and ate my food.

I am not a fan of their spaghetti. At all.
I find that the sauce tastes burnt, and lacks much flavor. It tastes like plain tomatoes; no other Italian zest at all. The bread was so-so, not very crispy or flavorful, either.
I found that as my portion grew smaller with every bite, the sauce turned into tomato-flavored water. It wasn't thick and smooth, it was just watered down.

This place is supposed to be historic, and it is usually very busy every night. However, there is a difference between historic and run-down. I am not impressed with the inside. The colors are stale and boring, it's always crowded and loud, servers always seem a little spacy, and there isn't very much ambiance at all.

Also, I knew a girl who use to work here as a hostess, and she left because she was appalled at the lack of respect and amount of gossip that came from many of the waiters. And I found this same amount of apathy from many of the servers, too.

I don't understand what brings people here, as to me, it seems like it's just starting out and needs a lot of improvements as opposed to representing a historical restaurant.

Penne noodles & spaghetti noodles  with meat sauce. Fast food service, slow drink service. Everything's a la carte-- even extra dressing is .35$ extra. If you order the "meal" then it's "inclusive"--the soup, salad, bread. Salad is iceberg & sometimes a little romane with shredded carrots on top. I didn't really like the  garlic or cheesy bread. I wish I did since everyone raves about it. It's ok, since if you eat all the appetizers you won't be able to finish your meal--large portions so order the half portion.

Everytime I go, there's a 30 min. Wait.... So locales love this place...the lots always full too--good thing I invite Grandma so we use her handicap sticker. TV at bar. Order a carafe of local wine (not bad rose or merlot) & enjoy family time! You never feel rushed. Pay at cashier on way out. Will come again due to smiley happy people vibe here.

I have been here once in the seven years I have lived in the area. Cheap prices for sure, but really we could do better at home with ragu, packaged spaghetti, and not to mention the very basic salad. The best part of the meal is the bread. Not sure h

This place should really close down. YUCK! I would not even give them a single star.

    PLEASE READ:

We went on Dec 11th at about 3 in the afternoon. We were 17 in our party... walked in gave our name the horrible hostess said that it would be a few minutes. Af few minutes went by and 2 larger parties were sat before we were. SO we went to her asked her how much longer, she said she wasn't aware our whole party was there!! WHAT! so she said give me 5 min five went by then more and more... finally a manager walked out said the server got behind with a large party to give her 5 min AGAIN! by this time we were there almost 40 min. Let me tell you any other Manager would have not given that excuse... she would have been serving or HELPING! at the least. Instead she just said she was sorry and comped our drinks.. thanks but no thanks... I was so upset by the time we sat we waited 1 hr and come to find out the place was EMPTY! unacceptable we talked to the manager and expressed out dissappointment. We had her knock off some of the bill as well.

Needless to say I didn't eat but the rest of my family did and they HATED the food. I mean what a dissappointment. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I rather eat from a can than go there again. As for the hostess, if she is so misserable being there she should really be fired there are others who are in need of a job.. or get her some training.

We went out to a late dinner and this was the one place I found on yelp with high rating.

We ordered full order of spaghetti with meat sauce and kids size spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs.

The full order was enough for 2-3 people.  It came with soup, salad and your choice of either garlic bread or cheese bread.

My spagheti was perfectly cooked but its sauce was just okay for me.  The soup looked just like red watery stuff with almost no veggies/meats.  The salad didn't look fresh.  My niece refused to eat the soup and salad.  Meatball was not bad but garlic/cheese bread was greasier than your typical greasy garlic bread.

Attentive service!!  The nice young guy checked on us probaly 5 times.  We didn't finish our meal and we got Chinese take out boxes for our Italian dinner.  Pretty cute..

    No reservations.

Friendly staff. Even after we asked that our party of 7 to be moved away from the kitchen.

    This is not Italian Food!

Spaghetti - get the meat sauce
    Salad - too much dressing
    Soup - standard
    Garlic Bread - tasty

I may be partial or even delusional? Vince's was a childhood favorite. Still good but did not withstand the test of time as well as I hoped it would.

    Bathrooms were clean.

COME HERE IF YOU FEEL LIKE EATING A SLIGHTLY ELEVATED VERSION OF HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA SPAGHETTI!!!

I have a theory of people who give Vince's 5 Stars: they have happy memories of the place that have nothing to do with the food, have never experienced the true joy of consuming an authentically delicious plate of Italian pasta, or grew up eating spaghetti from a can! My Upland-raised husband brought me here singing it's praises... I was left thoroughly confused as to why people from the IE think this place is an Institution!!!

On your first trip you'll order the spaghetti, either with meat sauce, tomato sauce, & with or without a meatball. This also comes with soup, salad, and garlic or cheese/garlilc bread. Your waiter/waitress will serve your food from these odd, rickety little silver push carts- too funny! The soup is equivalent to Campbell's Vegetable Beef Soup... The salad is of the typical iceberg/carrot variety, & the bread is average (go for the cheese- slightly better than it's buttery garlic counterpart). The spaghetti is what I just don't get- the noodles are overcooked and really thick, the sauce is equivalent to generic brand supermarket sauce...

Not a horribly bad, but why would you go out to a restaurant and pay for a meal that any dolt could make at home that would taste EXACTLY the same??? After my first bite of spaghetti I flashed to 2 high school spaghetti-dinner fundraisers!

The service and management here have always been great and it's one of those cute neighborhood places that families make a point of coming to religiously... It's definately a true 909 experience! They do serve beer and has a strangely  homey feel to it. If you're new to the IE, bring the kids here after a soccer or baseball game & you'll feel right at home!

You may come across Vince's Spaghetti while taking a joy ride through the glorious Inland Empire and get the feeling of deja vu.  "Didn't I just pass this place 9 minute ago?"  The answer is you probably did.  There's two Vince's Spaghetti's in a 5 mile radius in the Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga area.

I prefer the Rancho Cucamonga restaurant.  It's a nicer facility and I believe they have more options on their menu, and that is important because there isn't really many options.  Spaghetti, Mostaccioli, French Dip sandwich, Meatball sandwich (and salads of course, but who goes to an Italian restaurant to get a salad only.  Blasphemy!)

The first lesson is that a full order is for 2 and a half order is for 1.  I'm not sure how they decided on that, but unless you have a huge appetite and room for a gallon of carbs, I would order the half order dinner.

The vegetable beef soup that comes with the dinner is good.  The salad is a salad and what more can you say about that.  The pasta itself is done well, but with a huge portion, it tends to become redundant and boring.  Cheese bread seems to help solve this problematic situation for the most part.

The service is excellent and the decor is pleasant.  I just wish they had more options on the menu.  It's a very strong shortcoming in my opinion.  On a lighter note, I noticed they're now serving gluten free pasta which is a nice healthy option that I will never use.

*Same review I posted on the Ontario location - I've had much better service and overall experience at this location though.*

I'm about to be shunned by all of my friends, including my husband.

    VINCE'S IS OVERRATED.

There I said it. People live for Vince's in the Inland Empire, they can't get enough of this spaghetti.  They move out of the area and the second they get into town they MUST. HAVE. VINCE'S.

Yes, it's cheap and you get a hell of a lot of food. But is it worth the way you feel? They come wheeling your food out on a cart that has salad, bread, spaghetti, soup, etc. That spaghetti is so damn greasy I always feel like crap for the next two days.  The only think I'm a little okay with is their garlic cheese bread and some of their minestrone.

Spend another buck or two and try some new Italian people. It's really just not that great.

Ohhhh Vince's, how I love you.

There used to be a Vince's in Glendora and when I was a kid we would go there once a week.

I was devastated when they closed, but decided I would gladly venture to Rancho for it anyway.

My fiance is a BIG meat sauce fan and when I told him about Vince's he was not a believer. I finally conned him into coming with me and now I can't get him to want to go anywhere else.

Don't come here is you want Italian food, come here if you want MEAT SAUCE. The menu is very limited, but what they lack in options they more than make up for in taste.

Negative reviews are clearly from people expecting a different experience.

Plain and simple this place has large portions, is deliciously simple, and is very inexpensive.

I am 49 and have been going to Vinces Ontario (original location) since I was born. My parents were going many years before that.   When Vinces opened in Rancho Cucamonga I started going there.  It is still my wifes and my favorite spaghetti!   It is a down home diner atmosphere, nothing fancy here.  Jug wine, cold tap and bottled beer.  We always order the "Dinner". It starts off with salad, then great soup, cheese bread and then the spaghetti with Vinces meat sauce.  And for only about $10, you cant beat that.  Other menu items include large meatballs, french dips sandwiches (better than Filipes in LA).  Your order is delivered to your table on a rolling cart, classic.  Vinces is very family friendly and a bit noisy, but thats part of the Vinces experience.   If you haven't been you must try it.

They don't do alot, but what they do, they do well.  Vince's produces the some of the best spaghetti around.  With the huge servings, you will be having spaghetti for days.

Definitely get the MEATBALL in addition to your order, as well as a BOWL of PROVOLONE CHEESE to top it off (for sharing).  The Chianti is also quite good and compliments the meal perfectly.

Not a lot of selection, but they make the BOMB meatball sandwiches (get them on a cheese roll w/ extra cheese).  Best I've had in the IE.   Their spaghetti sauce is phenomenal and has kept this place in business for years.

Prices are excellent ($4 for a half order of Spaghetti, $6 for a full order - $5 for meatball sandwich).

If "0" stars were an option - that's what I would give them.

My in-laws highly recommended the place - so my husband, kids & I went - we shouldn't have wasted our money.

I am not the best cook in the world, but my pasta tastes 100 times better than theirs.  My garlic bread is much better.  Their salad looked as it had just been poured out of a plastic bag onto a platter - nothing special.

My kids were even asking to leave and go home to eat dinner!

I don't know why my in-laws like it so much, maybe they're old are their tastes buds aren't working.............doesn't make any sense.

Like someone else said, I think its out of tradition people go there - NOT because the food tastes good.

Save your money and make your own Italian food at home or find another restaurant that's worthy.

You certainly get your money's worth after you factor in the quantity & quality of your meal. Dinner combo comes with spaghetti, garlic bread & house minestrone soup.  The secret to their success is the spaghetti sauce. To get that intense rich flavor from the sauce, you have to cook it low & slow.  This place reminds me of The Old Spaghetti Station but so much better. You can also tell it's a local favorite by their dinner crowd.

I can't believe this place has four stars.  I mean... fo' real?

Menu is cute.  Straightforward, no frills.  Also super cheap.  My sister, dad and I waited a good 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged.  Strike 1.  Already annoyed.  We ordered a meatball sandwich, two plates of spaghetti, garlic bread, and salads to start.  The place was NOT busy and to even get us two sad-looking bowls of ice burg lettuce took another I'd say 15 minutes.  Now for a funny story!  My salad was absolutely DRENCHED in dressing.  I mean the lettuce was floating by the time I mixed it all around.  I took a few bites and then decided I'd pass on the blue cheese soup with lettuce garnish I was assaulting my palate with.  My sister's salad, however, had NO dressing.  We quickly figured out that they put her vinagrette dressing on mine, and then by mistake topped it AGAIN with blue cheese.  WOMP WOMP, Vince's.  Strikes 2 and 3.  I mean, that's pretty pathetic.

Food came probably 20-30 minutes later.  We sat there FOR-EV-EVER, and I repeat, the place was not busy, and they have approximately three menu items.  I have no idea what took so long.  My dad had asked [twice] for his sauce to be on the side, which it wasn't.  By the look of the clientele, I have a feeling he was the first person in the history of Vince's to make such a request, but no excuse.  The food was mediocre.  I don't even know what else to say about it.  Not bad for the price, but I won't be going there again...  Unless I have the urge to ladle their famous blue cheese salad bisque into my gullet.

    I hereby Veto Vince's.

    Amazing, simply amazing.

The food here is always outstanding and just damn right tasty, the wife and i usually order the mostacolli half dinner with provolone cheese melted on top of it. The meat sauce is perfect. A+

Vince's is a childhood memory for my sister and me.  It has probably been 10 years since we last went and the spaghetti still smells and tastes the same. The inside is reminiscent of the wineries that use to dot the landscape.

We visited Vince's on a Saturday night at 6:30pm. The wait was about 20 minutes. The service was pleasant though not phenomenal.

The food was delicious of course. $10 for a half order spaghetti dinner (half is plenty btw). The dinner includes veggie beef soup and salad as well as garlic or cheese bread (I recommend the garlic). The spaghetti was just as I remember it, topped with an immense amount of sauce perfect for dipping the garlic bread.

Will we be going back? Of course but it may take another 10 years....

We've gone here for years and always have a good experience.  Well after tonight I think it will be a LONG time before I go back anytime soon.  We arrived and were quickly seated as no one was there.  Our server (young guy - didn't get his name) arrived without any warm welcome or smile.  NO personality, no nothing!  He took our order and returned with our soup and salads.  Soup was a bit cold.  Then he arrived with my husband's order which was wrong.  He wasn't happy that he we asked him to correct it.  He returned with the correct order and we never saw him again.  He didn't check on us at all.  We had to ask for drink refills, boxes for our left overs, our check, etc.  I couldn't believe the poor service.  His poor service and attitude left me feeling really bad - he basically ruined our dinner.  Good luck getting any kind of service out of this guy.

It took them 20 minutes to seat my group and I when plenty of tables were available. My pasta was undercooked and not much selection on the menu.

My mom makes better food than this restaurant.

took a large group tonight and they seated is in about 15mins. They set the tables up stupid and it was really crowded. I ordered the 1/2 dinner plate spaghetti with meat sauce and the 1/2 order is enough for 2 people. Everybody in our party had to take lots of food home. We ordered some cheese bread and garlice bread. The garlic bread was good but i would never order the cheese bread again. the meat sauce was good but nothing great. It was kind of a wierd atmosphere.
This is my first time eating there and ive lived in rancho for 16+ years.
I would go back but not in no hurry.
