Review from Scott P.

My wife and I occasionally take a drive all the way up Sheridan Road to the sleepy little town of Pleasant Prairie. And we always stop at the Village Supper Club.
The place looks like it hasn't changed in decades, the fish fry is traditional Wisconsin, and the owners are really nice people.
Side story: On one trip to the Village, a couple of cigars slipped out of my pocket and onto the ground in the parking lot. By the time we got home, I had no idea what might have happened to them. We made another trip up there many weeks later, and the nice guy behind the bar not only remembered us, but still had my cigars! I'm pretty sure I could have dropped a wallet full of cash and it would still have been behind the bar.
This is a good place. -

Small cozy place with lots of wood and vodka bottles. There used to be a big beer can collection back in the day, but the people who own it now are into vodka. Needless to say they have a huge vodka collection. The food is good particularly the fish fry Friday. Be prepared to wait. They have prime rib on Saturdays which is dependable.

This cozy old roadhouse might be easy to miss while cruising up Sheridan Road not far from the Illinois/Wisconsin state line. My wife and I decided to check this place out one evening when we found ourselves in the vicinity with stomachs grumbling. The bar is huge for such a small place and the dining room is pretty tight so you might find yourselves dining at the bar as we did. I had one of the better cuts of prime rib I've had anywhere and likely at the best price I've ever seen. My wife had a seafood special that I don't remember too well other than the fact that she was quite satisfied with it. The bar specializes in vodkas and boy do they have a few! My wife enjoyed a unique martini creation and I decided on a couple craft beers. I was surprised by the more than adequate selection of interesting beers for such a small place. Service was great and we'll certainly return soon. If we lived closer, we'd be instant regulars.
