Great hangout outside of Saratoga.
I love this place when up in Saratoga as I usually stay outside of town to avoid the crowds that appear during racing season.
This is a pizza pace but also a bar restaurant and is in the winter it is full of locals and in the summer you get a mix of tourists and locals.
The food is very good overall but the bar rocks. I've crawled out a few times (mostly because I go with one of the locals) and a good time is always had.
Definitely worth the visit.

By far one of my favorite places to eat. It does get bonus points for being far enough out of town to escape yet close enough that I don't have to drive 45 min to an hour to get there.
The bread basket and pesto dipping oil will suck you in and you will never escape. The bread is baked fresh daily. Then you see the food other people have ordered pass by and you can't wait to order, but the hardest part is picking what you want. My personal favorite is their pizza but you can choose from pasta, seafood, veal, chicken and beef or creative daily specials. Then there is my favorite selection of pizza, Specialty pizza, gourmet Pizza, Stromboli, and Calzones.
Their prices are extremely affordable and the variety is great. Sometimes they have live entertainment, which can be quite interesting. One time I was there with my parents and we were serenaded by a violinist who sings but he was not exactly the most pleasant thing to listen to and his personality was a tad abrasive. I found it very amusing and a great story to tell but my parents were less then thrilled. You can eat inside in the bar area or the dining room, they have a small section upstairs, and you can eat outside on the covered patio. They even have a bocce court to pass the time.
They also sell gourmet gift baskets and gourmet Italian foods and they have a catering service. If you happen to be on route 20 between Saratoga Springs and Fulton County (the Galway area) it is definitely worth a stop just for some pizza and a beer...as long as it is not a Tuesday because they are closed.
