As I was writing a review for a similar store in Philly I realized I never wrote one for the store in my very own neighborhood.
I love it. Tons of green and shamrocks and sweaters galore. Candy...cadbury...my favorite part of my journey wherever I go.
My grandmother (right off the boat Scottish) would bring me into this awesome Irish store on long island whenever I would have a sleepover at her house. So this place kind of brings back those memories and now im getting all sentimental.

The first couple of times I didn't manage to get to this place when it was open. And then, and then, and then......well I'm going this week before I hit up Kettle Black. Then i'll review how it should be 6 stars. It can't disappoint. I just know it.
I've been to a similar store in Putnam upstate where I picked up a handmade wool cap from Donegal, where one of my Irish teachers was from, a mostly Gaeltacht region.
I'm sure there will be the real thing here. and i will be happy.
